I stayed here a few day back in October 2011 the Hotel was beautiful, I have been to many 5 star hotels but this has been my favorite! The service was incredible, I was there with my ex-boyfriend and the staff at the club were awesome Cherry was so helpful she even helped me put rose petals and hundreds of candle all around the room for his B-day, we had an issue with our AC so we where switched to a suite. The pool is very nice it kind of gives you the impression your in a small oasis in the middle of a big city but away from it all.
Rooms are spacious and very clean, the decor is tasteful and you can sleep for days in those beds!!!
The spa is nice and the once again the service was outstanding, I work in the hotel business so I have really learned how to appreciate service above other things. At the RC they will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and to meet you needs.
The only thing a was not happy about was the MOMO salon, as guest of the hotel you have a discount with them, I went there after my caviar facial (amazing, highly recommended) got the full salon service (mani, pedi, wax, hair cut and hair color) this was a great mistake!!! First of all the people there didn't speak English, which is understandable I mean you can't go everywhere expecting everyone to no English right? So I pointed out the services I wanted directly from the menu and then the hair color I wanted from a palette and I believed it was all understood, while they were cutting my hair, much shorter than I had requested, a girl from the spa came up and told me that unfortunately since my hair was so long and had too much they wouldn't be able to apply the guest discount, to be honest I hadn't even known at the moment that he had this discount, when it came time to dye my hair one person started to do it and then another costumer came in so he left me there and went on to help the other guest, shortly another person came and continued what had been left partially started, the problem here was that the first guy had already left chemicals in my hair, long story short, after 4 hours of applying color to my hair and three different people working on it, it was completely ruined, I had 3 different tones and it was terribly dry!! I put my complaint in to the manager and next day they "fixed it" they dyed it Black to get it even!! Taking into consideration that my hair was already so damaged from the day before, you can imagine how it ended up after yet another coloration. It has been over a year and my hair has still not recovered after various treatments from how bad they left it...
I would definitely stay there again but stay completely away from MOMO SALON!! I usually don't write reviews and not so long after my stay but I am planning another trip there for next May and would really love to hear they have done something to improve this aspect!!
