I fell in love with the lakeview there, took a walk along the lake and admired the beautiful scenery, which was a truely refreshing and wonderful experience! I stayed at the Deluxe Poolside Room with direct access to the pool (I wanted to book the Deluxe Lakeview Room at first but it was fully booked, don't think many people stayed at the Poolside rooms since it was not warm enough to swim). Anyway, I was quite happy with my room, which was spacious and clean with stylish room interior design. One disappointment though, there was no bathtub, just only shower.

In terms of the hardware, i.e the architecture, designs and interior decorations were all five-stars level, providing a grand but cozy environment (definitely not tacky). In terms of software, i.e. the service, staffs were very polite and attentive in general (except those in the Solmar restaurant during dinner...felt like they were short of hands and a bit in chaos during the peak dinner time).

The overall experience was great and I will definitely go back if I have time. Already thinking about booking their Villa and stay there with family.

Awesome hotel.

Great Show in the KTV area.....everything from clowns with baloon animals to models walking in swimwear. Laser show and dance routines PG rated in the common area. I'd take my wife and kids there.

Hotel has great outdoor pool (but it was closed in January) with slides and beach area. Small lake and wonderful resturants.

Very good for Westerners. Although you should request a room with a "soft western" bed. Some matress are Chinese style (hard as a rock) others are very western.

Great hotel. Large rooms, fast LAN for internet. This hotel was booked for me by a business associate during a business trip. 5 Star feeling. The western style breakfast buffet was one of the absolute best I've had in the last 20 years of traveling in China. Good place to stay with lower than expected rates. Also, good views of lake, mountain and luxury living community.

Stayed at the Goodview during a business trip. The rooms was very big and very clean. LAN on every room with high speed connections. A lot of recreational offers, 2 hours massage for 18 Euros. The hotel has Chinas biggest swimmingpool, beautiful surroundings and high service from the staff. The staffs english skills are not excellent.
