Tired of Chinese food? want something different? Then this is a good restaurant to satisfy your curiosity and adventurous appetite. The somewhat swashbuckling, Indiana Jones style presented by the owner, belies his superior knowledge of wines, and wine / food combinations. He will entice you to try out Indian cuisine, with lovely wines from around the world. The very authentic food is well cooked, and presented. The menu is not overloaded with options but, it does offer a good variety of Tandoori, the usual curries, sauces, dips, and chutney. You can choose your meats from poultry to lamb, mutton or beef. If you dont want to wash your RoganJosh down with wine, theres always a 'good', 'bad' or the 'ugly' measure of beer, or teas and coffee. We've eaten here many times - last year, and this year. Never been disappointed!
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, a bit subdued, allowing for intimate conversations as much as group discussions. The decor is interesting, with lots of humorous paintings / pictures on the walls which immediately catch your attention. If you want a game of snooker, or pool, there is a seperate room where you can be entertained. Want to discuss Boxing? just talk to Mr. John..... in English, or Hindi. Perhaps of interest to muslim people, the restaurant is Halal certified.
