First time, I booked Ibis hotel because I have accor member and as I know Ibis is quite good hotel with reasonable price and international standard.
First of all, I came at Ibis Hotel, Xiamen at 12am (midnight) from Hongkong. I was very tired and really wanted to get sleep. At the reception, I showed my booking reference and directly they said that there was no room left, so they offered me to get out and find another hotel. I was so angry and I showed them that in my booking reference, I would stay from 18August until 19 August. Yet, they were arguing (with angry face) that I stayed from 19 August (as they did not how to read between check in and check out). I had already explained to them that the date in booking reference means that I would check in at 18 August and check out at 19th. I asked for their boss came out and find another hotel which have available room. The receptionists did not want to do that, until I took some photos of them and video record them when they were arguing with my parents. Then, the GM whose name is Tony came out and tried to help us. We only wanted them to help us to find another Hotel because it was already midnight (although it must be their responsibility to get 1 room for us in their hotel). After Tony came out, he called Pullman Hotel and booked 1 room for us. The money that I had already paid for Ibis hotel will be given back to me, and I paid for pullman Hotel at cheap price. Everything was done at 2:30 in the morning, and I was really tired!
