This is a delightful old building with small but comfortable rooms. The staff were great. If you arrive at the Bus Sur office after traveling from Ushuaia and don't have too much luggage, you can walk to the Hotel. Follow Colon up the hill about 4 or 5 blocks. It is on the right.
The house was originally constructed in the 1930s and could be more susceptible to noise, both internal and external, than a modern hotel building. Of course it is also the old style architecture that makes the place so appealing. Noise was not a problem for us, even though our room had a window facing a busy street.
