“Incredible nature!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014

After a 4 hour hike we were rewarded with the most beautiful landscape that anyone could ever imagine! The Glacier Grey is enormous and after settling in we hiked to get closer and take pictures. The hues of blue are awesome, and to see the glaciar so majestic is an unforgettable experience!

“Needs better guides”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

The trip to the glacier itself is boring - the guide speaks for a couple of minutes at the start and another couple of minutes when the glacier is reached but the 90 minutes each way reaching the glacier are passed in splendid silence. More information could be forthcoming - particularly on the return when the boat trip seems to take much longer after the excitement of the glacier.

boat boarding could be improved - there is evidence of a pier at some point but now all boarding is completed with a rubber zodiac tender to the boat - involves several trips and is not the most accommodating means of embarking for older or less mobile passengers

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

We saw Glacier Grey after 3 days of hiking and it felt like a beautiful visual reward. The pisco sours served on the boat probably helped as well! We had hiked 3 of the 4 days of our "W" trek and were taking the boat back to a van to get back to EcoCamp. Yes, there are higher, bigger and better glaciers, which we saw later in Argentina, but somehow I really loved this one. The EcoCamp W trek goes backwards, so you are treated with the beautiful tour to the glacier on your way back. Stunning!

A highlight of the Torres del Paine. Amazing almost alien landscape. Unique views.
Beware 90km winds expected
