“Awesome scenery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

As we drove from Puerto Bories with TDP in the far distance we spotted hundreds of Guanacos grazing by the side of the road. Guanacos are part of the South American camelids group with Llamas, Alpacas and Vicunas. Closer to the mountains we saw Condors circling high above looking for food. Our first stop was to take photos of the Salto Grande waterfall, we were fortunate with the weather and some amazing shots of the thundering falls. Next stop was a picnic at Pehoe Lake absolutely stunning mountain peaks only TDP could supply. Hope you will forgive the pun but the icing on the cake was when we reached Grays Lake and walked right up to floating Icebergs. There was a section of the lake where the water had receded which enabled us to walk out to an island which was surrounded by bergs. A once in a lifetime experience.

“Must Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

If you are in Patagonia Chile this is a must see. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been too. See the guanaco prance around the snow capped peaks and crystal clear glacial run off into the Rio Serrano river. This is an outdoors mans paradise. Hiking, horseback riding, glacier treks, and fishing can all be found in this amazing place. Visit the caves that were once inhabited by the megalodon and learn about the history of the park. Stay at any of the beautiful hotels located through out the park that keep you near the action. Some of the best salmon fishing on the planet can be found on the Rio Serrano which flows through the park. You can take a boat ride to the glaciers, or for the more adventurous, you can do one of the many hikes and find your way there. This is a must see attraction and on the best places in Patagonia.

Just an amazing place. We did a full one day tour just to get an idea of what's there. We now definitely plan on going back and try to hike the "W".

“Most beautiful place I have ever visited”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

This is a national park that is has now been named the 8th wonder of the world and well deserved. No matter where you are in the park the views of the Torres are spectacular. The colors in the lakes and rivers around the mountains are blue/green from the glacier melts and the alkaline. The park is clean and the road is gravel but in excellent shape. You feel you are as close to God with the majesty and beauty of this national park
