“One of the most impressive National Parks in the World!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2012

Torres del Paine National Park is one of the most impressive and breathless nature wonders I've ever seen. We did in 5 days the well-known W trekking, sleeping in tent at the camping facilities of the park, and cooking ourselves. Free camping and making fire is strictly forbidden.
It's also possible to sleep in huts, but some of them are quite little (no more than 30-40 people) so it's recommended booking them with enough time in advance.
There's also the possibility to do the Circuit trekking, which is a round trekking along the park that takes 9-10 days.
We did W trekking from West to East, what actually most of the hikers do, starting in Refugio Grey after taking the boat at Pehoe lake. The view of Cuernos del Paine is also better from W to E.

For the ones with short time, even a 1 day visit is highly recommended.1 day bus excursions are organized from Puerto Natales, with the possibility to take a short boat trip in the park.

“Breathtakingly stunning views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2012

I booked the W trail but sadly due to the fire it became the L trail. Our guide was fantastic ( thank you Juan ) and the treks were well marked and took you to the best places for views of this stunning mountain range. We camped at Torres which had showers/WC and felt safe. Lots of wildlife and clean trails.
It will live long in the memory.

I went to Torres del Paine National Park for a very short period, just 3 days. I Stayed at the Las Torres Hote and the main atracction was walkink up to Las Torres. It was the most beautiful walk ever, in the middle of a forest. Do to the season, autum, the color of the trees was from bright green to pure red, amazing. Also i experienced the most clear skyes, with a crazy combination of snow, rain, sun, electric blue skyes and bright white

“Trip of a lifetime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2012

Actual date November 2010. We had been warned that Patagonia was cold and wet so we'd bought thermals and alpaca woolies but when we were there the sun shone all day from a cloudless sky. The scenery is unforgettable, the peaks tower over you, the lakes so blue and inviting and there are guanacos and rheas (type of ostrich) to be seen and photographed. Take your own food and drink and have a picnic in the best surroundings you could imagine.

“Classic Patagonia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2012

The Torres (towers) that the park is named for are seen from the north side of the park and were upstaged only by the Cuernos (horns), that are the view of the same mountain cluster from the south. We found the best view from the Rio Serrano.
