“Outstanding Guides, Awesome Scenery, Gotta Do It Again...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

What a way to end a 10-day trip of hiking, biking, and kayaking in Torres del Paine! Christian and Leslie were the perfect team for guiding a day-long kayak trip beginning amongst the icebergs in Lago Grey, then 20-plus km down the Rio Grey to the confluence with Rio Serrano. My buddy Dave and I were extremely impressed with the quality of the gear, the quality of Chris' safety lecture and equipment (after all, the water is just above freezing!), the precautions taken around the unstable icebergs and the few challenging currents, and yet the spirit of adventure, discovery, and paddling fun that Chris and Leslie encouraged. Great to have a local adventure guide like Chris, and both he and Leslie had great communication skills with our marginal command of Spanish. Muchos gracias! Plenty of lunch food and snacks, very relaxed pace, adventurous weather (a little rain but no wind, super light for photographing the brilliant blue icebergs, always changing peeks at Paine Grande through the clouds), informative commentary on the park plant and animal life, and some nice photos Leslie took of us while we were taking photos of the bergs and the guides! We came away feeling like great friends with Chris and Leslie (maybe that was sealed by the polar plunge we all took at the take-out.....good luck for assuring a return trip, of course!), not to mention the tasty beer and snacks upon leaving the river. We are hoping (individually or again as two old mountain and river geezer buddies) that we can get back to TdP and sign on for a longer trip with Kayak en Patagonia, to take on exploring more cold rivers and new glaciers and icebergs with Chris and Leslie. Highly recommended!

“See the Torres del Paine from ice cold water and love it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

If you like adventure and the beauty of the great outdoors don't miss this opportunity to kayak amongst icebergs while the ever changing Torres del Paine view delights you. Alex was our guide and led us on a fabulous 5 hour paddle on the Grey River below the Grey Glacier and the Torres del Paine ultimately intersecting with the Serrano River. What an experience to be so close to unreal like deep blue icebergs as we focused on staying afloat navigating river currents and eddies. Our picnic lunch on the edge of the river was delightful, the equipment outstanding (and safe) and Alex's guiding superb. The weather changed throughout the day which changed the colors on the Torres in a spectacular way as we made our way down the river and enjoyed condors above. This is truly an outdoors person's delight. If you like kayaking you should not miss this opportunity. Well worth the money!

“Expensive, but it's Patagonia!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

Chris and Leslie were my guides and they were excellent. Luck will give you a windy or serene day (it's Patagonia) but these guides will amp you up to get to see the icebergs up close. I did the lago grey iceberg and rio grey trip. Beautiful and the guides were fun. I totally blew my budget (and this price does not include admission to the park, so if you are going already, get your ticket stamped on your way out!).

Oh and they bring excellent snacks and do all the set up of food and kayaks and provide warm things to wear. I was in excellent hands!

“Can't wait to paddle again with Kayak en Patagonia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

My friend and I went on a day trip with Kayak en Patagonia towards the end of a 3-month journey and it was by far one of the highlights of our trip! Our guides Cris and Leslie were absolutely wonderful- very professional, high regard for safety, and immensely friendly. We did a full-day kayaking trip in Lago Grey and down Rio Grey. We saw some spectacular icebergs and kayaked down a few rapids, which was quite the thrill! I would do this trip again and recommend it to anyone visiting Torres del Paine and Puerto Natales. Thanks for a great trip Kayak en Patagonia!
