This restaurant was recommended to us and I must say it came out on top. The place is warm with a comforting feel, specially after a walk in the cold! The staff is friendly and we learnt that the restaurant is run by the Chef who is from Africa and his wife from Patagonia which is why it is called 'Afrigonia'. The food was very tasty and offered a different variety compared to the usual Chilean fare. There was flavour and it was beautifully presented. Our waiter was very adept at recommending the wines as we wanted something sweet and his choice was excellent. The Chef came to our table after our meal to speak to us as we mentioned that some of us had been travelling in Africa last year. He was very friendly and forthcoming.
Overall it was a lovely experience and though not all that cheap, the price was sure worth it :)
