“Would stay there again! Very friendly staff, nice & clean rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

We stayed for three nights. They picked us up from the boat jetty at tonle sap lake for free by tuk tuk. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. The tuk tuk service to angkor and to the city centre works well (service to the city centre is for free). The pool is clean and very nice. towels are provided. The room size is totally sufficient and everything is very clean (room service every day, free tea, coffee and two bottles of water every day). Breakfast is tasty but only instant coffee. The breakfast is in the restaurant which is situated in the garden looking area in front of the hotel. Take away breakfast for sunrise tours is possible. We also tried the restaurant and it was also very good and tasty. We would definitely stay here again.

The Golden Mango Inn is a perfect base from where to explore the temples around Siem Reap.
Genuinely friendly staff will assist with planning your Angkor Wat trip, adjusted to your wishes. Also, they offer a free tuktuk pickup service from several busstations around town and the tuktuk will bring you to anywhere in town (free of charge).
However, the location is far from perfect (just off a main road). Don't worry, the spacious garden (and decent, clean pool) will make sure you'll feel you're far away from the noise and traffic.
Rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are large and the bathroom was basic but nice and clean.
Tip: late at night, after having explored the temples and felt like Indiana Jones, buy one or two beers at the reception and enjoy a quiet drink at the balcony at the end of the corridor of the first and second floor!

We spent 4 days at the Golden Mango and cannot speak highly enough about the warm welcome at the airport and hotel, the interest shown by each worker and the wonderful ambiance they have created. The staff work as a close knit team always busy and keen to make your stay the best it can be. Free tuk tuk to downtown with reliable drivers. Tour organizing excellent. Breakfasts (7 choices of 3 courses!) were delicious and presented with care to detail . The Golden Mango helped get our trip off to such good start. Would return in a flash!

Friendly, helpful, "gentle" staff greet you at this quiet, welcoming small hotel that felt like home within a day's arrival. Clean large rooms. Varied menu, consistently good quality food at reasonable prices in charming restaurant. Beautiful pool and serene shady seating areas. Free in-room wi-fi is a bit sporadic. Excellent all-round value. Hotel is a little off the beaten path, but tuk tuks are easy to arrange. We commend Ly for his high-spirited, good-natured, information-packed daily tours at very fair prices. We felt privileged to stay at this oasis in Siem Reap.

The staff were so welcoming and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was BEAUTIFUL! The building and garden area was beautiful and so well kept. This was one of our favourite places on our trip in South East Asia. It's a little bit further out from the centre of Siem Reap but close enough to ride!

This hotel was one of the best places we stayed during our 7 weeks travelling throughout southeast Asia. The staff were all beyond friendly with special mentions to Yung & Tol (hopefully the spelling is right) who were always super helpful. They helped us book our tuk tuk tours to Angkor wat over two days which were great. The location is a couple of k's out of the centre but with free tuk tuk ride's into the main area it made no difference. Plus it was nice to be staying away from the over touristed area. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was a very nice touch.
