“Great Food, friendly Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013 via mobile

I spent 2 nights in this hotel. The staff arranged everything, from airport transfer to temple tours with car or tuktuk. One could also rent a bicycle. The accomodation is basic, but everything what one could need is there, including working aircon and wifi internet. Restaurant has western, asian and local kmer food. The kmer food takes some time to prepare, but there are forms of paper where you can indicate when and what and where you want your food. Prices are reasonable, quality of the kmer food is clearly 5 star ( with some variations, but never towards mediocre).

We stayed here and were so happy to be away from the tourist crowds in Siem Reap. We rented bicycles from the hotel and cycled to Angkor Wat each day, which was great. The staff were lovely, the food was good and it was so quiet and relaxing to be here. The rooms were each a small bungalow. The bed and bathroom were clean and nice, but this is definitely not luxury (which we were more than happy with). For a great value away from the crowds, I would recommend this hotel. We would not consider staying anywhere else if we returned to Siem Reap.

This is a fantastic hotel with small chalets set in a beautiful garden with pool. Amazing breakfast and we arranged our tuk tuk driver and taxi through them so we knew exactly how much it would cost. If you want to stay out of Siem Reap in the countryside then this is an ideal place. The staff and family are friendly and there is a billiard table in the entrance. Best hotel I've stayed in so far and highly recommend.

I stayed at Palm Village in August and it was amazing! It's location is away from the pub street so you get a great night's sleep in a cute bungalow and gorgeous setting. The pool is refreshing, the spa is amazing! I definitely recommend using the spa treatments. I did a tumeric massage that was out of this world, the best anywhere in the world.
It's super easy to get a tuk tuk and get to the temples of Angkor Wat. The staff is warm, welcoming, accommodating and ready to help you at any moment. They will help you arrange anything and everything you need.
This was my first stop in Cambodia and it was perfect all thanks to Palm Village.

If you're looking for a cozy relaxing place to go to when you visit the Angkor Temples, then Palm Village is the best place for you. It may be far from the downtown area, but im sure when you leave this hotel you would feel so relaxed. Their rooms are the best with airconditioning and clean toilets at 40 usd per day with free breakfast.

The must try is their chicken noodle soup for breakfast together with some freshly baked baguette. The service is very accommodating and although while working in their dining area there are dogs and some frogs that may be roaming around the area.

Overall I would recommend this place when you visit Siem Reap and get your accommodations here.

Room Tip: Make sure to get those cabins for double rooms and there is complimentary bottled water and jackfrui...

We were surprise when the tuk tuk driver who picked us up at the airport needed to ask many passerby-s to acquire for the hotel location. And then the driver took us far into the wood with only a narrow muddy lane with lots of holes here and there and for a good 30 mins we arrived at the resort. Then a friendly host came greeting with his cute little face, then we discover there are like 5 chihuahuas living in the hotel. The bamboo cottage was dark (dark still even you on the light), not really clean (there's spider web on the rack where the spare pillows were stored), decorative on the wall at the bed is collecting dust, small old boxed TV barely functioning, there is no bath tub as advertised. The resort is not close to the street, you might need to walk for at least 20 mins to any stores nearby. That if it was not raining, cos it would be almost impossible for the 'road' to be accessible by foot except if you have a knee height raining boots. We were there for a short trip just to visit the temples, and we do not really spend a lot of time enjoying the hotel. But we do have some very good rest every night, the place was quiet, and the bed is good. I might not come back to this same hotel for my next trip, as I like to take walks and enjoy the street. But for those who has the privilege to a longer holidays in Siem Reap, this is truly a rare place offering peace and a relax stay.

Room Tip: A hotel without air conditioning is good enough as the place is sheltered with trees and breezy. It...

Nice cool quiet resort with lotsa well kept trees and natural landscape built around the living area and bungalow. Don't waste your USD on Pub's street food or Ang Kor Wat's food places if you are going to stay in this resort because they do have restaurant that provide tasty and nice presentation khemer dishes. Overall, I had a nice quiet, reasonable clean and safe stay. Also i recommend you to book your temple transport via this resort. Price is reasonable than other agencies and the drivers are more reliable and trust-worthy. Oh...and if you are dog lovers like me, you would love the family dogs (small breed) roam around the lobby mostly during the day. They are so adorable, cute and each are named after a fruit.
