We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in March 2009. The hotel is located about 2 miles out from the town centre on a busy main road from Siem Reap to the airport, many hotels are located on this road. To walk from the hotel to the town centre would take about 40 minutes, it takes about 15 minutes on a motor cycle rickshaw and costs about $3. The hotel is pleasant with spacious air conditioned rooms. The restaurant does serviceable food. There is a pool behind the hotel without much shade. The hotel reception would not take a $100 note in payment of their bill. No free wifi.

Very nice hotel - stayed there for 2 nights. My room was big, had everything you needed. Very clean, the personnel very responsive and helpful.

Great price, great service, clean and spacious room with fruit basket and free buffet breakfast. Really nothing else I'd ask for!!!

Room and bathroom are big. Tidy as well, but I am not sure to put down clean. Perhaps I am a puritan, but the towels and the chairs had stinks. Beds are comfortable.

Nice lobby. Attentive and friendly staff. They made you orange juice while you waited to check-in and everyone greeted you once you entered, which were impressive for a three/four-star hotel. The buffet breakfast that included in the fee turned out to be a la carte menu (perhaps due to low season and there werent many travelers during our stay). I do not have a problem with it at all because buffet is not really my style. It is actually better to have someone waited at your table and served.

You may consider staying at Lotus Angkor later this year though, when the hotel has probably finished the rennovation. There were always workers, sand and dust at the entrance, in the lobby and around the pool area. The construction noise generally starts at eight, which could be the best alarm ever to pull you out of the bed and go see the charms of the Angkor sites.
