We called in here after being severely let down by Home Sweet Home next door (avoid at all cost). They had no rooms but sent one of the staff out to check out local guest houses while we had a beer. Far beyond the call of duty.
We found somewhere eventually but came back here for a delicious meal later that evening. We tried some of the traditional Khmer dishes and were not disappointed. We also came back here for a much needed hangover burger on New Years Day which was equally delicious!

They have a lovely staff.. Manager Russel is so helpful! And the best tuk-tuk driver/tour guide named Rom. Food is pretty good and there's a mini grocery store across the street with a lot of snacks. A bit far to walk from pub street but a $1 drive is fine. Super clean place.. They fix up your room everyday :)

This wonderful guest house is now owned by Russell, a British expat, who bought the hotel from Gordon, who headed back to the US for his children's education. I am pleased to say that Russell is keeping the hotel with the same wonderful service, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere.

Service is the main attraction here. Russell has a wonderful manager named Lin who he "inherited" from Gordon. She runs the day to day operations, and never seems to sleep. Russell also "inherited" the wonderful tuk tuk driver Mr. Mahrom, who can take you to the temples, and a fascinating water village. Be sure to write to Russell before you arrive, so he can help you formulate your plans, and to make sure that Mr. Mahrom is available for you. Russell can also arrange a licensed guide for the temples.

The rooms are basic, but very clean, and the air conditioning and lighting are good. The food here is actually as good as anywhere in Cambodia, and inexpensive. In the evening, the lobby/dining room has a friendly atmosphere.

All in all, it was a great stay.

Very clean, very tidy, very helpful. I only used it as a base to sleep at so I cant really comment on the facilities provided but all of the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Perfect base for travellers on a budget looking for clean and tidy lodgings. I would recommend this to anyone.

We stopped here by chance and loved it. Compared to neighboring guesthouses and to the Lonely Planet recommendations, this place takes the cake! We loved it!

Rooms are clean, spacious, and hot water plentiful. The owner and his friends are very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great breakfast deal, and the Khmer food is some of the best we had in town.

WHY OH WHY IS THIS NOT THE "GO TO" PLACE FOR ANYONE TRAVELING TO SIEM REAP!!!!

The first thing that struck me was how IMMACULATELY CLEAN this place was. The rooms were a decent size, the overall decor of the Guesthouse was welcoming and relaxing and the food as very good. The owner Russel was a absolute gentlemen and incredibly helpful. He originally was from Nottingham UK and after working for a number of NGOs in Cambodia, decided to set up a Guesthouse. He therefore knows the area and people very well and gives great advice about what to do and see.

Then there's Lyn. She does the day to day running of the Guesthouse and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was always professional and warm to deal with even when my mates and I really tried her patience (Thanks again Lyn for every thing and sorry for being such a pain).

For anyone who is traveling from Bangkok to Siem Reap by coach, the guesthouse offers a pick up from the boarder down of PoiPet. I would HIGHLY recommend taking this service. The pick up cost $45, but dont be fooled by this price. This is actually the standard cost of a taxi from PoiPet to Siem Reap and is totally worth it. PoiPet is crazy place where you get swamped by touts as soon as you cross the Thai border and where The Cambodian immigration guards always hassle you for bribes. It was such a relief when we were met at the border by a guy holding up my name on a board. Not only could he speak English, but he knew all the other touts by name and told them to back off from us and he even helped us through immigration and stopped the guards from taking bribes from us!

The other thing I would recommend would be to checkout the activities and tours the guesthouse offers. These was cheaper than the prices we got.

All in all theres not a single back thing I can say about Two Dragons Guesthouse. I would definitely recommend it.

Very comfortable guesthouse for budget travellers: clean, safe, good food, friendly staff. Excellent solid tuk tuk driver - we visited the temples with him and he took us to Kampong Khleang - it was unforgettable experience for us.
