Excellent value for our U$44. Deluxe, large, comfortable room for 4 nights overlooking river (partially through a tree, but I like trees). Spacious bathroom well fitted out. We had a single connecting door through which talking could be heard on night one, then cheerful laughter the next night. We were so tired from temple touring it didn't bother us and we probably slept through some of it. Buffet breakfast was a bit repetitive each morning, and some of the hot food dishes (rice, noodles) were not kept hot enough. Mostly OK and we didn't feel we needed to seek out another cafe to substitute. Desk staff were obliging, but for most English was a bit difficult, however anything we booked was attended to and car or tuck-tuck drivers turned up on time. Paying per half hour of internet was a bit restricting and annoying. I had just about got to one of my research answers when time ran out! We did enjoy What Bo? Cafe next door, enjoying beers and light food. Mr Dara Pok was very cheerful and welcoming. Also eating in the Old Market area is a must. Plenty to chose from and at night a couple of lit up streets visually reminded us of Italy - but then we sat down to eat Vietnamese dish of snake and crocodile! Overall really enjoyed the hotel - think it was full or nearly full most of our stay.
