“Oh, so pleasant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2012

Four of us ladies had spent a week in a medical/dental clinic, being helpful in any way we could in some villages outside Siem Reap. When our "work" time was over, we extended our trip a few days to be tourists. This resort was the perfect place to end our trip. Our only necessity was a swimming pool. What we got was a pool, easily available food poolside, reasonably priced spa services, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. A tuk tuk was quickly available for a trip downtown, OR the hotel provided transportation for drop-off and pick-up. The front desk was pleasant and easy to deal with. We would stay there again without question, given the opportunity.

The room was ready by the time I arrived around 10am. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. 2 free bottles of water each night. I was able to get a late check out at 2pm. Overall I was happy with the stay. Worth the money spent =)

Juz spent 3 wonderful nights at this charming hotel. Comfortable room, bathtub and loads of tv channels. The traditional khmer massage offered at the spa was also a great relief from the unforgiving bodyaches suffered at the hands of the beautiful temples. The staff were always on hand to tend to every request. Great hotel with great service. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting Angkor temples and the floating village on Tonle Sap. Very nice large rooms, with friendly staff, nice restaurant, large pool with a bar, gymnasium and massage spa. We took advantage of the free 10 min massage and it was great. Only thing we would suggest id the gymnasium should be moved into one of the underutilised rooms on the ground floor near reception, as we planned to use the gym everyday, but the heat made it a little uncomfortable. If we had air conditioned facility it would be much better. We tried the restauranton our last night instead of the many options in town (10 min $3US tuk tuk ride to town) and had a very nice meal, with the staff allowing us to drink our own duty free champagne- it was our 26th wedding anniversary- :) . The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice,; we even were given a take away breakfast hamper -we had asked the night before- for our 5am sunrise visit to Angkor Wat temple. We would stay here again. BTW my wife had an English Wool & Cashmere blend business suit made in town for US$100 no need to haggle at this price!- insist on a fitting and allow a little time on pick up for any adjustments- New Style Tailor in town recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights and It was a very pleasant stay for us. Staff were very helpful and polite. Quite a large and nice pool and rooms were well maintained and clean. It is about 5 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes by car/ tuk-tuk to the city centre.
There is limited gym facilities (2 working treadmill) and 2-3 station for weight lifting. Overall a we had a very pleasant stay here.

We arranged for hotel pick up a couple of weeks before we depart. Although we sent them another email reminder the day before we depart but did not hear from them, we were glad the staff picking us up was on time and waiting for us when we arrive at the airport :)

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights as part of a tour group. It is hard to believe that this classic looking hotel is only 6 years old, it seems to feel like it was from the French colonial period. It covers a large area with buildings surrounding a beautiful Olympic size pool. The grounds are beautiful and charming with statues of elephants looking over a fence. We had a second floor room in the front with a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Beds were comfortable, there was free wifi, coffee maker and fridge in the room. Breakfast buffet had seating indoors and out and was very good with many Asian and western choices.

The hotel is along the airport road in an area that has many of the newer large hotels. It is a distance to the heart of town with its markets and many restaurants, however, the hotel has a free shuttle to that area that runs every 2 hours and worked fine for us to give us time to eat, do some shopping at the markets and see the pretty lights along the river at night. If you want more time or want to go any where else in the area like the terrific Angkor Museum or the temples, tuk tuks are readily available and seem to cost $3 US for a ride (US dollars are accepted everywhere in this area). You can also hire tuk tuk drivers for the day. We used a delightful young tuk tuk driver who works for the hotel but also free lances, Mr. Ratna, whose local number is-[--].

There are few other facilities around the hotel--there are no restaurants or markets nearby. The closest ATM is across the street and as you exit the hotel it is to the left a few hundred yards.

This was a great place to stay in Siem Reap and we throughly enjoyed it.
