“Book this hotel now, you'd be stupid not to!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

My Gosh, this hotel is perfection! I cannot put into words how impressed I am with this place. It’s brand new (2 months old) so everything is in perfect nick, and the staff are just so dedicated to making your stay a memorable experience. They actually put flower petals in the bathtub, like every hotel does in the pictures on their website, but these guys actually did it! So unbelievably cute! The service here is outstanding, the staff are so charming and will always greet you and have a conversation with you. They are eager to hear any feedback you have about the place, and even provide a free tuktuk service. What’s more, they supply each villa with their own cellphone to use to call the driver when they want picking up from town. The icing on the cake for me though, was the late check out. Our night-bus departed as 11pm, and they allowed to check out at 10pm free of charge, and then gave us yet another free ride to the bus station. If you are considering this hotel as potential accommodation, look no further! You would be a complete idiot not to book this hotel right now! It’s just a 10min ride from central Siem reap (on your free tuktuk I might add) and the slightly out of town location actually a huge selling point, believe me! You will be staying in a idyllic, peaceful resort with a luxury spa-like feel, and you also get to experience the rural surroundings, including some seriously impressive sunsets! Also if you’ve experienced South East Asia accommodation before, you’ll know sound insulation is terrible everywhere you go. Well, that is simply not an issue here.!Book this now! You will not regret it!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful, lovely guest house, where everyone has their own "cabin". We would highly recommend it. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and the service is superb. The hotel is located outside of Siem Riep but just minutes away from this very busy city. The hotel owners provide free transportation to and from the sites of Angkor Wat plus trips into and around Siem Riep.

I spent 6 nights in Siem Reap during a 3 week trip to Cambodia. We were there to take in Angkor but also to relax. Bunwin Residence was perfectly located for both - outside the hustle and bustle of the town in the peaceful countryside but with easy access into the town with free tuk tuks available to drop off and collect as well as for day tours of the temples.

The hotel is only 2 months old and therefore in great condition. They have however done a lovely job on planting the gardens so they seem established. The restaurant offers a wide selection of food that we tried extensively and enjoyed. The staff can't do enough for you. On our last night they were able to accommodate an extra late check out (even though we didn't ask - they simply offered when they found out our departure time) and then went out of their way to resolve an issue with our bus tickets even travelling with us to the bus terminal to ensure there were no issues.

I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel and making use of their cookery classes and bike excersions as well as the restaurant and pool facilities. Thanks to the team at Bunwin for making our stay so special.
