“Long way but worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014

It took over an hour to get there by tuk tuk but it was worth it. The museum has an orphanage at the back which looks after under privileged children affected by landmines and the children's stories are particularly touching. This is a small museum but it does bring home to you the horrors of this type of bomb. There is an American there who will talk to you and tell you more or answer any questions you may have which is excellent. It is a long way out so rather than just go there try and visit something else nearby at the same time or go with a tour in a minibus, it really is a long trek just to go there and back by tuk tuk. Definitely a place to visit.

Everyone should visit this museum to learn about the genocide suffered by the Cambodian people and lend support to the effort to rid the country of landmines forever.

“Sad reminder but worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

It is a sad reminder of Cambodia recent past but I would recommend to visit this museum. The entrance is only $3.
You can visit this museum while visiting Banteay Srei or Ta Phrom.

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

A small museum but very moving. Brings home how innocent lives continue to pay the price for past wars.
Inspiring to read the personal stories of the people involved and the work they are doing to reclaim their country from the landmines laid during the civil war.

“Opens your eyes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

We've been here twice now - it will never cease to amaze me that landmines are STILL in the ground and people are being injured or killed to this day. Very, very sad. The American who runs the museum gives a great informal information session. And it is only $3 entry fee. We will go again.
