The rooms overlooking the gardens were spacious. The best swimming pool my 9 year daughter says having travelled to more than 10 destinations in last 3 years. The buffet breakfast was well laid out and evening entretainment/cultural dance was something we will remember for a long long time. It's proximity to the temples complex was great too and just the right distance away from City on the Tuk Tuk.

We stayed for 4 nights in April to explore Angkor.
This is the closest hotel to the site which made it easier to get to Angkor wat for sunrise. It is also easy walking distance to the National Museum which is well laid out and well worth a visit (a nice break from the relentless heat)
The pool complex is beautifully laid out. One slight negative though is that the service from the pool staff was somewhat lacking - we had to keep going in search of them when wanting to order drinks - other people didn't seem to have the same trouble.
The room was lovely and it was nice to have a view into the beautiful gardens. We did however get bombarded with ants. You are left little treats to eat in your room, only ours were always covered in ants! We complained and they sprayed the room which seemed to clear them for a couple of days but they were back the morning we checked out.
The service was good and particularly one of the girls was charming and really friendly - although she was worried about getting told off for being too chatty with us - it's a shame because friendly staff often make the difference on holiday.
The bar was really nice and played good music. Yes it was more expensive than in town but we would generally stop for a last drink at night.
Tuk tuks were $3 to town and we hired Mr Mann (who is usually outside the hotel) for $20 for a day - really worthwhile as we got a bit off the beaten track and he was really good guy.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would be really happy to go back there.

Just returned from 4 days and 3 nights staying at the LM Angkor - had a fabulous time! Prices are very reasonable for a 5 star hotel for the food, spa etc. The pool is great - really unique design with waterfountain, lily ponds etc... I used the spa it was lovely - had a 4hr package! It uses Jurlique products which are great.

Staff deliver service with a smile - everyone was so friendly. the actual hotel is nice, bright, spacious with a quaint tropical feel. i 100% recommend for anyone visiting siem reap.

As for the town of siem reap - beautiful, charming...people are lovely- the temples are amazing... great pubs, cafes, great food and totally affordable. beer and cocktails are ridiculously cheap also (US$0.50 for a can of beer at happy hour!).

I was there with 9 other friends - 10 of us - the staff did a great job of looking after all of us.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during a 3 week SE Asia trip. It was the perfect location to tour the surrounding area. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the room was very comfortable and clean. The service was very nice- the check in process went incredible- the front desk and manager were present to make sure we had everything we needed- tour guides, tuk tuk to pub street, etc. We wished we could have stayed at least one more night in this great town- we only had a short 48 hours and it went too fast. We did get to use the fitness center and spa at the hotel and the fitness room was good enough for a quick work out. My husband and I used a coupon the hotel provided for facials and massages and were pleasantly surprised when they put us in the same room to enjoy our treatments. We didn't get to use the pool- but it is huge with what appeared to be comfy chairs and plush towels. There were really no drawbacks to this hotel- the hotel really is a nice place to stay while touring the surrounding areas.

We did use the business center and they charged us like $5USD for printing two pages up- which we thought a bit much- but otherwise that was fine. The hotel reception is really nice as is the whole property.

Im a travel agent and did a FAM trip to Cambodia. We stayed three nights at Le Meridien Angkor and I have to say, it was the best that I've ever experienced. At that time, they were just picking up with tourism, so the roads weren't great and lots of dust and mud and half built hotels, and the tour guide hired for us, was a little rusty.

The staff was truley amazing to us and they remembered us.

The resturant was great and had a very good selection. The wait staff were always smiling.

The grounds of the hotel were nice. When we went, they were just finishing being built and working on the gardens, but they still looked very nice.

I didn't get to experience the spa, as I had sprained my ankle during on the of tours of the ruins, so got stuck in my room, but the staff brought me ice to keep the swelling down when we got in.

Great location, close to some tourist shops and Angkor Wat ruins.

I highly recommend going to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. You wont regret having to wake up at an ungodly hour to see it.

All in all, being a travel agent, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
