“When I return to Siem Reap...this is where I will stay every time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Shinta Mani's service was outstanding. The hotel is in an excellent location, where my wife and I could easily walk to the Old Market or Pub Street in a short time. Every time we needed assistance whether booking a tour or finding a driver, they were extremely helpful, and we got an excellent value for anything we booked through the hotel. The massages at the spa were the best I received while in Cambodia. The restaurant food was excellent and the pool side service and drinks were great as well. In addition to all of that, the Shanti Mani Foundation works hard to help people in the local community overcome the constraints of poverty. The foundation educates and sponsors many students in various areas of the local community and if you want to travel in Cambodia and be a responsible tourist, staying here is one step in the right direction.

We had a lovely room, two flights up, but overlooking the pool in the hotel. There is a Shinta Mani resort, so do not confuse the two. The hotel was very welcoming, staff vigilant with cool towels when you arrive, water and umbrellas when you go out. The are friendly and informative, but unobtrusive. The restaurant area has some hanging eating areas which are informal. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had good served choices as well as a buffet. |Our room was lovely and well appointed. We had a balcony and a very large wet room with a shower.
This was our last stop of our holiday, and we really loved the unassuming luxury of the hotel.

Room Tip: We had 213, which is good if you are able to manage 2 floors of stairs, but it was quiet (unless you...

Siem Reap has so many different resorts, guesthouses, and when searching online, it was quite baffling and confusing trying to choose form the amazing selection of great places. My fiance and I really needed a night of luxury, and we had heard that the shinta mani hotel had really nice rooms, pool and restaurant. The reason we decided to book there, was the website, and the design of the hotel looked exactly what we were looking for =
classy, refined, elegant, and super relaxing.
Well, the result was exactly that and more. when we arrived, the staff greeted us with refreshing cold towels, and a very warm welcome. The concierge staff, knew our names from the booking, asked us interesting questions, and really made us feel great. everything was well explained, and when they opened the door to our room, we were so taken back by how gorgeous it was. huge bed, very sparkly clean bathroom with lemongrass fragrance burning, and a view and private garden onto the large dark green pool.

Everything we needed the staff provided, they were great conversation - exceptional English, and made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. It was magical. the cocktails were so so good, and the breakfast in the morning was the BEST I have had - in two years of living in Siem Reap! I highly recommend this hotel, and when we left, I felt like I had had a weeks holiday ! I will be back - maybe with the ladies next time to try the spa! thanks Shinta Mani!

Room Tip: we stayed in the resort side, and all the rooms have a fantastic view, but I guess further away from...

My husband and I stayed at Shinta Mani for three nights! It was fantastic. We booked a Deluxe Room - the room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and comfortable. The Shinta Mani team look after their guests and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is a short distance from Siem Reap's restaurant and bars - we walked into town each night. In addition the Hotel works hard to make a difference and has established its own Foundation which supports initiatives in education, health care and small business start up. They also hold regular night markets to support products made in Cambodia and have a school and development centre at the hotel. We loved our stay here and if ever back in Siem Reap would not hesitate to stay here.

This hotel gets everything right. They have exceptional service, amazing food, and comfortable rooms. The ambience of the hotel is warm, relaxing and welcoming. After spending the day out exploring the temples I looked forward to being greeted by friendly staff, a cool moist towel and a comfortable room to recover in before heading out into town at night. The food was top notch, the waffles in the morning were amazing as is the ginger lemongrass chicken burger! The hotel has its own tuk tuk drivers and arranges everything for you for a reasonable price. The spa is well equipped, reasonably priced and has excellent staff. This was my favorite hotel that I stayed in on my trip and it is all due to the wonderful staff.

We stayed at the Club for 2 nights having come from a 5 star hotel nearby. I regret not having stayed here for our first 3 nights ! The ambience of the hotel is calm, warm and peaceful. The rooms are clean, spacious with large TV and sound system. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating with all our requests from booking restaurants and rearranging the bedding to fit in 2 children. Breakfast is of top quality and loved the mix of a la carte and buffet. We also visited the pool over at their resort across the road and absolutely loved it. We will definitely be returning but the hard decision will be whether the Club or the Resort. Either way we're coming back and its all because of the staff, facilities and wonderful food! We're already recommending to friends, though would like to keep this our secret!

Room Tip: If you want easy access to pool from your room, then choose pool side rooms though it may get noisy...

The list of good things about this hotel is endless. The Cambodian design, the intimate feeling, great pool and the beautiful rooms make this hotel fantastic. But if I have to say one thing about the hotel- it is the amazing service- all the staff were so friendly and so welcoming. They are so sweet, so warm and always with a genuine smile on their face. They go out of their way to accommodate all requests.

We loved the food at the restaurant. The Traditional Khmer Tasting menu is a must-try! It changes daily as well, so you can try all the best food in Cambodia.

The Shinta Mani is such a lovely place that we did not want to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel!
