We stayed in this place for 2 nights in Siem Reap. The place just opened this year, and it's a family business, so it's not as big and busy as the other hotels, but I highly recommend this because they gave us a very pleasant stay in Siem Reap. We arrived late in the evening but Mr. Wathanak's wife welcomed us to the hotel. They offered their phone so we can call and book a tuk tuk for our temple tour. The rooms are new and very clean, very very nice bathrooms with hot and cold shower. The aircons work well and cooled the room quicker than the rest of our other hotels which was very good. The wifi is also very accessible from our room.
We weren't able to get the breakfast during our 1st day because we saw the Angkor Wat sunrise, but our breakfast for the 2nd day consisted of toast, orange jelly, hotdogs, and eggs, plus a drink of your choice! It was a very good breakfast which comes with the room rate. If you happen to be here, don't forget to ask Mr. Wathanak for a cold milk tea which he makes himself, it's the best milk tea I've tasted, even better than the expensive milk teas in Manila.
The location is also very convenient, around 3-5mins walk to Pubstreet and Night Market, and a few more minutes to the town.
The owner, Mr. Wathanak, along with his wife and kids are very nice, and are very, very accommodating. Mr. Wathanak even went out of his way to buy milk when we requested for milk tea. Such a nice man. He even told us that since the room that we vacated is not yet booked, we can still use its bathroom to take a shower when we get back from the temples.
I highly recommend this place if you're staying in Siem Reap. It's a great place for anyone.
