“Skip pub street and head here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Khmer Home is only about 2 minutes futher than pub street and a way better option!! The food was about the best I've eaten in Siem Reap, the spring rolls are crisp and tasty and super cheap! The staff are friendly, without being overwhelming and as a special bonus, you are served some complimentary fruit for dessert. All in all a 3 course meal and a fruit shake for $6...delicious!!

“Small, genuine local restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

This is a tiny place with on a very quiet side street, just minutes from the bustle of Pub street. If you want to experience a family restaurant, local food and extremely friendly service, this is a place not to miss. It's a true family business, - husband, wife and daughters all work - at they put it themselves "we serve you from our heart".

These is a great selection on the menu, from chicken lab (similar to Lapp in Laos) to a variety of traditional Khmer dishes.

There was a group of 4 of us there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Could not recommend it highly enough. A great place to experience a genuine taste and feel of true Cambodia.

“Excellent food and value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

This is a relatively new place (6 months old) and is tucked away along an extension of Pub Street (alley by the pharmacy) - it is next to bike rental place. It is family run and you feel very welcomed by all members of the family. The food is really great - good variety on menu and very well priced. The service is exceptional and attentive. They really go out of the way to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. As it is tucked away it is a fairly quiet place to dine. This is definitely worth a visit.

“Really nice place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Relatively new place... barely 6 months old, so not very well known, tucked away along the street leading from Promh Roth Guesthouse to Pub street area. Next to a bicycle rental shop. Fantastic food, great ambience and nice family running the place. Away from the noisy pub street. Nice if you want a quiet venue to enjoy authentic Khmer food. Amongst restaurants I've visited, this one served the best Khmer fare without the fanfare. Open only for dinner, the owner is a friendly English teacher by day, and the restaurant prides itself for having "no boom boom music and no sexy gerr". Must try the mango smoothie, the amok fish and the samlor! NOT in Lonely Planet. Highly recommended!
