Description: Marum features a winning mix of creative local cuisine, and is named after the Moringa, or 'Tree of life' - very appropriate, as customers will be enjoying a fantastic dining experience that helps build a new life for the students in training there!

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Everyone should know about this little gem. We went as a group and everyone was impressed with the food, service was very good and the students helpful and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. The shop attached to the restaurant sells some lovely quirky stuff, again helping the young people of Cambodia who are less advantaged than ourselves. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

“The Best restaurant in Siem Reap”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

Marum is a training restaurant. The students provided excellent service and the food was unusual and delicious. We sampled a variety of tapas - style dishes from the wide menu and enjoyed them all. Prices are very reasonable.

“Probably the best valued meal we had”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

Besides from the fact you are REALLY helping here ( all profits go back into education of those less advantaged) it is really incredible food! AND it is different from all the tourist -restaurants wanting--to please your taste buds..eg.we ate at Kroya- top retaurant - delivering the best menu in Siem Riep ra ra ra - to be fair it was a beautiful space and gorgeous waiters...but..- Marum was sooo much nicer food- ( just not the glamour) they are keeping with there traditional methods of cooking... So this is to be encouraged-

“Delightful restaurant with nice food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant has a worthy background. The food is lovely and service very well meaning. We visited with our two kids (14&12). Initially we were a little worried about a restrictive menu for kids but there is a kids menu (delicious fish goujons) and we got by quite well with our kids proving a bit more adventurous than we might have expected. Only slight criticism is that the meat section had 4 dishes containing pork out of the 6 on offer (excluding the red ant fritters). Little restrictive if you don't eat pork. Perhaps one more chicken dish not containing pork would be helpful.
