“What a gem!”

Not only is this hotel fantastic value for money but the whole package is excellent quality. Prompt and comfortable airport transfers, a warm welcome at the hotel, friendly and helpful staff, beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed, great shower, complimentary mini bar restocked daily and laundry service, an extensive buffet breakfast, nice pool and lounge area all add to why we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Memoire d'Angkor Boutique Hotel. Oh and the cocktails during Happy Hour, etc, etc, etc.

My wife and I stayed at the Memoire D'Angkor for four nights in February 2014. Once we arrived we were welcomed by hotel and especially Mr. Sophanet Chan, who really cared about our trip and wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Once we arrived in our room, there were cookies waiting for us as well as soft romantic music playing in the background. The hotel room was clean and modern, with all the amentities you would expect. The room included a hot breakfast every morning, which was delicious, and the service was top notch. Everyone at the hotel was always very happy, kind, and accommodating to everything we needed. Mr. Chan and I had many conversations during our stay, and I feel like I made a true friend in Cambodia, someone who I would like to keep in contact with. My wife and I also took advantage of the spa services with a couples massage, which felt great and was very relaxing. The spa services were a little on the expensive side compared to other places in Siem Reap to get a massage, but the services was excellent. Memoire D'Angkor is an amazing hotel with the highest quality customer service that I would recommend to anyone travelling to Siem Reap.

After a delayed flight from Pnomh Penh we arrived at Siem Riep airport a bit hot and bothered to be warmly greeted by two members of staff from the hotel, and then driven to the hotel in a nice air conditioned car with cold towels, we instantly felt more relaxed. This pick up service is offered free of charge. We arrived at the hotel to be given a welcome drink and then shown to our room which was very nicely decorated and very large. Drinks in the mini bar are free of charge as is laundry service is also free which was an excellent added service. All of the staff in this hotel are extremely attentive and they excel at client service. Breakfast was very good, there was plenty of choice. Another advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to the centre of Siem Riep so you can walk to the bars and restaurants in the evening time and soak up the atmosphere in the streets. The rooms are a little dark but everything else was excellent. We were looked after by Phasy Sun, part of Management team. He had lots of tips for our stay in Siem Riep and was really helpful. I would totally recommend this hotel. You can really relax and everything is taken care of for you.

Had a fabulous time at this hotel!
Service was excellent, especially the assistant front office manager Phasy Sun was outraging - cod answer every question from sightseeing tips, restaurant recommendations, local marchers and even trustful tuctuc drivers!
Breakfast was offering every heart'a desire, the pool invited to spend a relaxing time after a busy sightseeing day in Angkor and the drings were fabulous!
If we could choose, we would imideately decide to go there again because the fulfilled every wish! Definitely best place to stay in Siam Reap!!!

After spending some time in Phnom Penh, we decided to take a quick trip to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat. Our hotel had been pre-booked by the organization we were traveling with. It was a nightmare. In high tourist season we needed to find a new place to stay. Thankfully we stumbled upon Memoire d'Angkor.

Upon stepping foot into the hotel the staff welcomed us with open arms. After hearing about our nightmare the night before they stored our luggage for us during the day, comped the mini-bar and offered free laundry service to us. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay in Siem Reap. Customer service like this is hard to come by.

The rooms were spacious and clean with many amenities, including cold air conditioning. Free breakfast and wi-fi were included in the reasonable price. Though we didn't have time there was a nice pool out back. The location was within great proximity of Angkor Wat, the Night Markets and a traditional Cambodian buffet and dance was directly across the street.

If you wish to be treated like royalty I would highly recommend this hotel, you will NOT be disappointed!

From the time we were picked up at REP airport by Samlei and her team, to the time of airport drop off again by Samlei, we’ve had the best service the entire duration of our stay. This is hands down the hotel with impeccable customer service.
There are sooooo many hotel choices in Siem Reap, and if you’re into big style hotel/resorts with grand entrances, then this is not for you. Memoire D’angkor is a boutique hotel, tastefully decorated with local flair. It’s been renovated and changed names from a previous older hotel. The value is really good with the inclusions (free airport transfers, breakfast, mini-bar, laundry etc).

We were upgraded to a suite since on our honeymoon, and was welcomed with the most beautiful honeymoon décor in-room (carefully placed heart-shape rose petals and towel swans). The room and bathroom are massive and they had all the amenities.
The only issue I had was the shower not draining properly, but management informed me that they are working on that issue.
The room had a fun swing couch and it was really comfortable lying there watching tv.
We’re really thankful for the free laundry service, especially after 2.5 sweaty days of seeing the Angkor temples. Clothes were return back to us the next day, smelling so fresh and folded neatly.
Wifi worked all the time throughout the hotel. It’s the same password for different connections in different area.

My husband and I both had massages at the hotel, and while I loved my masseuse, my husband thought his wasn’t good.
The breakfast room is a big bright room with someone playing live local music. They had a variety of food selection, from hot dishes to cereal/yogurt. There’s fresh fruit! (yummy mango and pineapple which I did not find at other hotels in Cambodia). My favourite was definitely the fresh noodle soup station that taste pho like, I could eat 2 bowls!

When we were there for 4 days, we actually didn’t see a lot of people coming and going but we liked that instead of seeing a big tourist group. The staff is really what makes the experience… super friendly with excellent English, and always so helpful.
Good job Memoire d’Angkor team, I would definitely recommend to others, and will come back again!

This hotel has a lot going for it - really comfy beds, great shower, generous breakfast, very friendly staff, good location. But it also has a very strong sewage smell on the 4th floor and pool area. We had to leave the pool because the smell was so disgusting. It's wasn't 'pockets' of stench, it was everywhere in these areas. Management really needs to do something about it ASAP, plus boost Wifi connection as it's very weak.
