This Sofitel is set in beautiful landscaped grounds, it has a huge swimming pool and on arrival we were greeted by traditional dancers. The restaurant provides a great buffet breakfast and lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and town is just a very short tuk tuk ride away.

This resort is very nice at first impression, but rooms are not up to Sofitel standards as they are tired looking and in need of renovation, and hence this hotel is not great value, especially when comparing to other 5 star properties we've visited during our 2 week trip through Cambodia and Vietnam. Pool is nice and breakfast buffet is good (but Phnom Penh Sofitel was better).

The Sofitel was my last check in in Siem Reap. I have been here a month and have stayed in 5 hotels and naturally I knew this would be the one to beat.

The rooms are STUNNING and furniture made of a quality that is hard to find nowadays. The resort itself is well designed and you have to pinch yourself to realise you're in the centre of the city, you can be forgiven for thinking you're on a tropical island somewhere.

The food is great and service OUTSTANDING. I had a problem with a travel agency who booked the wrong flights and refused to change them, the hotel immediately got on the phone to help me out and were so wonderful! Sophea made a point of greeting me everyday and any enquiry i had was dealt with quickly and efficiently and with a smile, nothing was too much, she really made me feel at home whilst staying here over christmas.

It is expensive for Cambodia, but worth it for that added ease knowing everything is taken care of for your stay.

Very nice suroundings. Very good food. Very helpful and friendly staff always with a warm smile to greet you.
Convenient to Siam Reap, Tuk Tuk and taxi service from the hotel was excellent.
Hopefully will stay here againnext time I am in Cambodia
