we chance upon this hotel in Groupon, the price is right so we immediately snap the 5D4N package at rm298 for 2 person last October. Miss Riya is very helpful and even offer us a cheaper rate for my friend who decided to join our trip in the last minute.
all the staffs there are extremely helpful and friendly. They will ask the night before what would you like to have for breakfast the next day. IT's a pity, i only managed to savour 2 days of breakfast there because the chef only comes at 7am and on those 2 days either i have to leave at 5am for sunrise at Angkor Wat or leave early for the airport. Nevertheless, i managed to try their omelette and noodle soup. After breakfast, they also serve a plate of fruits. what i would like to suggest for Check Inn is to offer pack breakfast for their guests, especially those who need to leave early to go see the sights. it could be something really simple, like sandwiches or hard boil eggs with a pack of drink, an apple or some cut fruits.
There's even a resident tut-tut driver for Check Inn, Mr. Vireak so you don't have to worry about your transport to town or to the airport.
our room is spacious, clean and the single beds are wide enough to sleep 2. their staff comes and clean and tidy our room everyday. after a dusty day outside, you are being welcomed by neat bed, puffed pillows etc.
another thing i would like to suggest is to fix the tv in our room (002), i'm not sure whether the connection is poor or the tv is spoilt. we can't receive any tv channel, i asked one of the hotel staff, he told us, it is due to tv station not transmitting any signal. however, our friends occupying other rooms are able to watch tv.
I think Miss Riya or her family enjoys gardening, as i could see there are so many nice flowers, roses, orchids in the garden. this provide a calming and refreshing view for us during our breakfast in the garden..
oh ya.. many reader mentioned that it was quite noisy, to me, it's not, i mean i could hear the people drinking in the pub nearby or hearing the guests next door snoring (i did heard some snoring through the not so thick wall) but i just couldn't be bothered, i can still get a good night sleep.
well, this has been a lengthy review.. i would strongly recommend this hotel for everyone out there.
