The staff is really nice and friendly. The rooms are extremely clean and the service exquisite. They take such good care of you, right from the moment you arrive in Siem Reap to your departure- packing breakfast for the sunrise tour, arranging a tuktuk for sightseeing and welcoming you with a broad smile and refreshing wet towels each time you step into the hotel. I would recommend this place to everyone :) :) :) :)

my wife and I (we are both in our late 70's) had the pleasure of staying at Motherhome Guest House during Oct.2010 (see our review 2 Nov.2010) and really enjoyed the attention and the courtesy of the staff and when we decided to visit Siem Reap again we thought we try Motherhome Inn. It was also our wedding-anniversary and I asked Mr.Kemleang for a nice room. When we arrived and were shown to our room there was a big "Happy Wedding-anniversary" made of flower-petals on our bed and a fruitbasket.
The staff are exceptional, my wife and I have been travelling throughout Asia for the past 10 years and we can honestly say that the staff, the courtesy and the attention to detail was the best of all hotels we have visited over the years, including 5* hotels. The rooms are spotlessly clean, every time you return to the hotel after a day out you are greeted with a cold scented face-towel.
The staff are really trying very hard to please you and smile and greet you in the lobby, in the restaurant and whenever they see you and it is all genuine.

I would like to make a suggestion. On the reception counter in the lobby there is a box for gratuities for the staff. The money is all pooled and once a year the staff are all taken for a day or a weekend away and they have a staff-party with dinners etc. Some of the staff come from poorer areas and have the opportunity to be trained by experienced management and really value the training and to be taken away on a trip, where they are treated and served is a real bonus for them.

I would like to respectfully suggest that maybe all guests when they leave put $1.00 in the box for every day they stayed in the hotel.

The hotel receives a lot of Chinese guests, please contribute $1.00 a day, after all that is only a very, very small part of your holiday-budget and you reward the staff for all their efforts and kindness.

Whatever you do, when in Siem Reap, there are only 3 hotels worth staying at
1) MotherHome G/H 2) MotherHome Inn 3) MotherHome Boutique.

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly but certainly not in the 'special' category for us, shower in the room was almost impossible to use without soaking the rest of the bathroom. On the plus side great omelette at breakfast...

Stayed here two years ago and came back to find this place is still fantastic. Mr Vanna and his staff really go out their way to make your stay a special one. One improvement is there is now a sealed road running past so it gives the entrance more appeal. You cannot beat this place. They really care about you!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool side room

Stay 3 nights at MotherHome Boutique hotel recently, Professional service and professional Itinerary for us~Strongly recommended as holiday choice.Mr. Kimleang is very professional and with highly responsibility, Very grateful for his help indeed.
1 Facilities were full, new hotel, with bar, swimming pool, message center, even with some medicine;but Solar water heaters sometimes not work when raining day,a little bit inconvenient.
2 Itinerary is wonderful. Mr. Kimleang help us to make the arrangement, Unforgettable journey.
3 Professional at services, especially in fees items. Thanks a lot for our driver-Mr.piollow, Seriously, athletic and enthusiasm to help, highly recommended.
Happy holidays with MotherHome, next time we still choose this hotel, and would recommend friends and relatives, too.

Room Tip: Face swimming pool is better, when rain heavily, there are frog sounds little noise

Right from the moment i stepped into Motherhome Inn lobby, i felt like staying at home. All the staff were very helpful & always put the Cambodian signature smile on their faces. Room was clean & well maintained, owner respect guests privacy & the environment was quite and peaceful. Especially resting at the pool side near "Father Bar", with the relaxing music & breezy wind....mind was blown away. Breakfast was FANTASTIC !!! I had the best pork congee & fried noodle in town, made me looked for more. I also tried the massage & it was excellent....not too much and not too less...PERFECT !!!
Shamefully i only stayed there for 2 nights, would definitely come back again for this wonderful experience in Motherhome Inn.

My husband and I stayed at MotherHome Boutique Hotel for nine nights recently, and all-in-all, it was an absolutely wonderful stay. We were greeted at the airport by a tuk tuk driver and arrived at the hotel with no hassles whatsoever. We had originally booked the guesthouse but were happy to find out we had been upgraded to stay at the Boutique Hotel. We were delighted with this because the place was stunning! They were kind enough to allow us to check in early.

The hotel itself was kept impeccably clean throughout our stay, the staff were always friendly with good English, and also very helpful. Upon returning after being out we would always be offered a nice, cold face towel, which was very much appreciated!

Our room was maintained very well, and was really well sized with cable television, a fridge, robes and other amenities you'd expect in a four or five star hotel. There was also free bicycle hire which we took advantage of to ride around Siem Reap and out to the temples for a few days (this is highly recommended!). We also had a massage at the hotel, which was very good.

I also must say the breakfast is AMAZING! You have the option to have freshly cooked noodle soup of your choice as well as other Asian food such as fried rice (delicious!) and stir fried vegetables, and also a wide selection of fruits, pastries and cereals. It really set us up for our big days out and about.

A few things to note are firstly that the hotel didn't have an in-house laundry service when we stayed, but there is a very cheap and nice family business just down the road which we used (allow 24 hrs for a load). Also, the wifi was really weak in our room - I'm not sure if this was just because of it being such a new hotel, but we rarely got a connection which was sometimes a bit annoying. With practically every bar and restaurant in Siam Reap offering free wifi though, we got by :). Also, the hotel had computers with reliable internet (and ability to print) in the lobby, so we also used these when we needed to, which was great.

I highly recommend MotherHome Boutique Hotel and we will definitely be staying there when we visit Siam Reap in the future. Thanks to all staff for a lovely stay.
