“Don't run a bar tab!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013 via mobile

We stayed for a week (just because of the value for the room). Big room although house keeping never came in for the 7days. The bathroom had an unfinished plumbing pipe coming out of the floor and electrical cables from where a light swith once was. The room also had cables hanging out of walls from unfinished wall lights.

This place is 15/20 min walk to the pub st.
The pool is big with approx 10 sunbeds, how ever there is no shade at all during the hottest parts of the day (not a problem if you enjoy sunbaking) the pool isnt refreshing at all for the same reason. Would be nice if they cleaned the dead bugs once in a while.
We put laundry in, which our bag went "missing". After following this up for 3 days with 4 different employees we went up ourselves for a look (not so hard). But no one had ever seen it.
So in short; cheap room, good A/C, lazy staff, big hot pool and rooms never cleaned and a few "extra" drinks added to the tab when we payed the bill

A tuk tuk driver took us here for free so I wasn't expecting very much. However I was really pleasantly suprised, lovely big rooms with a/c, a tv (no English channels) private huge bathroom, tiny balcony and the best bed I've slept in for a long time! The owner can appear a little surly at first but take the time to talk to him and he's lovely, all the other staff were helpful and great English speakers. However the absolutely best thing is the pool, especially after a long day at the temples. The room won't be cleaned whilst you stay and you collect your own well worn towels from downstairs, but really for $15 we felt we were getting a really good deal. The food is good and cheap as well.

I didn't stay here this year as I was staying with a friend just outside the town. I came in to say hi and ask if they minded me using the wifi, which of course they didn't. I also ate here a few times. The menu is varied with a mixture of Khmer & western food, loved the smoothies!
Service could not have been better, always a friendly welcome and help with improving my Khmer.
A great place if you are travelling alone as they are always up for a chat.
The town is in easy walking distance (around 10 minutes)
Just remember it is a different pace of life out here, which to me is the attraction of a holiday.
Thanks very much and I'll see you next year x

$60-70 AUD in reil went missing from a pair of shorts that went to their in house laundry service. When we approached the staff, they were not prepared to investigate and basically turned their back on us in relation to the missing money. The laundry lady come down and denied ever seeing the money. We were charged $20 per night despite finding the advertised price on the Internet to be $12-15. We came here in a tuk tuk and took their word. We stayed in two different rooms for 4 nights and found both rooms to have old a/c's, they were too smal, noisy and battling to cool the room down with such high ceilings. The towels were not present in the rooms in both cases and had to go and ask for them. The linen was really well worn, towels were old, odd sizes and colors and the mattress was a slab of foam. Be prepared to bring your own pillows.

We stayed here for 3 days while we were visiting Ankor. Really nice big rooms. AC, TV, Pool, really couldn't ask for more.
The place is very clean, very well priced, and had good food. They were able to set up all of of Tuk Tuk rides and our bus to Bangkok.

We spent there 3 days and that was enough. Extremely impolite service! I needed to turn 50$ into smaller notes so I went to the reception to do it. The guy was researching the note for a few minutes and finally he said that he 'wasn't trusting that one' and he flatly refused to exchange it. Needless to say, the note was genuine, I got it in the bank :/ Also, when we were leaving, very early in the morning, another guy ran after us exclaiming that we didn't pay for some food! It was a nonsense, as we ate there only once, and we paid right after eating. Another problem was that our room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. Finally, look for a tuk tuk driver somewhere far from the hotel: very few of these around the place offer a reasonable price for trips.

You will find way better places to stay in Siem Reap! This one should be avoided.

5/10 minutes walking distance to town centre. Rooms are big with bath, hot water, ac, tv & wifi. Restaurant service with reasonable prices. Two pc at disposal at the hall area and a small pool that is really welcome in a hot day. Good option in Siem Reap
