“A very good choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

We had fresh spring rolls and a spicy local fish khmer style. Both very fresh, with fine herbs, wonderful taste. We recommend "For Life" very much.

“Good honest Khmer grub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Tucked away down a little alley, this family run restaurant does great, reasonably priced Khmer food. We had mango salad with fish to start, followed by Khmer farmer style curry for me and sweet and sour style curry for my boyfriend. We also tasted some of the fresh spring rolls which our friends had. All were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also very well made and the service was personal and friendly. Would definitely come again.

“A gem of a find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

After reading rave reviews on tripadvisor, we made it a point to look for this restaurant. It took us some time to find the place as it was tucked away on one of the side lanes in Pub Street. It was a gem of a find as the food was delicious and genuine Cambodian and the price really reasonable. Our Cambodian friend was with us and she can attest to this. We had our best dinner on our first night there and when we returned the next night we were welcomed back like old friends. We tried all the salads and they were pleasing to the palette. We had the most amazing spicy snails. The amok and spicy river fish is not to be missed. The chef even came out to make us recommendations. It is a family run business and they genuinely make their customers feel at home. Their drinks and cocktails are also refreshing and reasonably priced. This will be our favourite restaurant from now on.

“The real Khmer soup”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

We accidently fell into this set-off family-run restaurant while walking around old street district and trying to escape from noise and crowd at Pub street.
A venture of 2 brothers and a beautifully smiling smart sister, offered the best and most authentic Khmer food during our 4-days stay in Cambodia.
We haven't tried everything, of course, but every ordered dish was a nice surprise.
Khmer soup seasoned generously with fresh galangal made me fly into heaven! Soups are absolutely worth trying here, when someone looks for some genuine local taste.
Prices are fairly low, overall a very friendly ambient, feel like eating in a Khmer home.

“Most Enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

Had a delicious meal there last night. The chicken amok was amazing and the crispy chicken stir fry was really really tasty. Will go back again there this evening.
