“Pretty disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

We walked to Pub Street and decided on Cambodian Soup Restaurant after seeing that it was packed on a Friday night. The grills look interesting and we ordered grilled beef fillet, Khmer frog, Lok Lak and Fish Amok. It was the first time we tasted fish amok and it was good! The beef dishes were very dry and too chewy for our liking. Again, the frog was over-grilled and it was tough to eat. Beer is really cheap though and they have quite an extensive drinks menu available.

“A smile would be nice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Had a simpler dinner there. Menu is not very long. Prices are cheap, especially the draft beer at $0.50. We enjoyed the food but did not see a single waitress smile even one time. Seems they were bothered by clients.

“A great place to watch the world go by”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

A great place to watch the world go by - especially with a glass of Angkor draft beer at 50c.

Comfortable chairs for drinking and people watching - although a little less so if having a meal. Reasonably priced 'snacky' dishes like spare rips and eggplant. They have a BBQ grill and also offer cooking classes.

A nice place to relax.

“We just keep coming back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

Cambodia Soup staff are amazingly friendly. From the first time we stepped in for a drink we have been remembered and well looked after..we were interested in going to the first ever kickboxing event in Siem Reap and they went out if their way to find out as much info about it for us...They wave to us when we walk past with a big grin on their face so happy to see us and so excited to tell us they saw us on tv at the kickboxing. The rice paper rolls are just amazing and make for a great snack with an ice cold beer...everytime we are on Pub St we always stop for a break here :)
