“Nice Apsara show, great food choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

There was a wide range of food for the buffet included in the Apsara show package but some stations did not estimate the influx of people coming in daily - they ran out of barbeques and soups! Drinks (except tea and coffee) are not free, not even water.

“big-bus tour place”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

The idea is lovely-getting to see native costumes and traditional dances, while enjoying an easy buffet-style meal. To be fair, our guide got us there a bit late and the food was room temperature and really unappealing. Many of us ordered mixed drinks-whatever that alcohol was could have removed paint. There was a bus-depot atmosphere to the whole place-not comfortable. I had a bout of Ho Chi Min's revenge following this dinner.

“Has the Look but Not the Taste!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

This place could really be something with a little more effort. The facility is very large and accommodating and looks nice too. The food is served from three food stations and has a large variety of Asian cuisine, unfortunately it all tastes as if it was toned down for foreigners. Very lacking in spices and herbs that left most of the food bland and disappointing. The show was the same as the food. The entertainers went through the motions to please a bunch of foreigners but there was not much heart in the performance. The large tour groups were irritating as they would assault the food stations in waves. One minute lots of food and a no wait, the next bus load and the unruly tourists were pushing, cutting in line, going the opposite directions and eating like they had not eaten in days. It was mildly offensive to be in such a nice place with such boring food and such rude people. The staff was quite nice and attentive and even the restrooms were immaculate.

“I got what I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

I booked this through my hostel. I got free transportation, a dinner and a show for 10 dollars. I paid an extra four dollars for two cokes and all in all it was a good way to spend a night. I had never seen apsara dancing, but it was quite interesting to watch. The buffet you get was a hit and miss. Some things, like the noodles they had were awesome. Others, like some pork skewers were terrible. Choose wisely. I had fun watching some of the dancers who were trying not to laugh and some seemed like they were enjoying themselves. It's catered for huge groups of tourists, but the service was spectacularly good, even though I was by my lonesome. If you want something cheap with a good value for the money, go here.

“waste of time”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

A huge restaurant that accepts mostly large tour groups from Russia, China, France and whatnot, who come here as a part of their scheduled tour to watch the Apsara dance. I'm sure that none of these people would've come here if they had a choice.
Buffet - large but bland and tasteless. Most of the food is Asian. People roaming around with their plates - not a great addition to the show. Show itself is neither bad nor good. Some dancers were better than others. Perhaps the only good thing about the dinner was the possibility to make photos onstage (for free).
