Owner description: KHMER WAYS MOTO ADVENTURES - Discover Cambodia by Moto. We strongly believe that the best way to discover a country is the way of the locals. In Cambodia the Khmers' major means of transportation is by moto (Honda Dream 125cc), enabling them and us to reach the remote beauties of the real Cambodia. Join us to follow the Khmers on their trails through rice fields, bamboo groves and jungle towards hidden villages, ancient temples and breathtaking views.

“An excellent way to see Cambodia”

The drive to Beng Mealea temple was an excellent experience and Kdan was a great guide full of social, historical and current information about Cambodia. I highly recommend this motobike experience!

“One of the best ....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

I admit I am a scaredy cat when it comes to motorcycles, especially in Asia. Khmer Ways Moto Adventure Day Tours put paid to my fears - I want to go back and do more of the same. We travelled with our gorgeous guide Rong through the beautiful Cambodian countryside. Riding through jungle entwined villages; rice paddies with coolie-topped farmers planting and harvesting rice fields; bullock-pulled drays; motorcycle tractors, ploughs, trucks, carts, garbage vans - you name it. All pulled by a single motorcycle engine and single front wheel. Local markets plied high with fresh tropical fruit and vegetables, fresh and dried fish, and hunks of pork carcasses. The Beng Melea tour to the remote Beng Melea temple 60km away was incredible. In Tomb Raider style, mostly crumbled and left as it was found. Covered in bright green lichen and vines, strangler figs dominating the skyline. Massive blocks of stone cover the ground with about 1/4 of the temple still standing. In total it covered a 1km2 area, but given the climbing up and over the towers of rubble and up ancient stairs, as well as climbing into the underground tunnels it was a lot more than one km, especially in the tropical heat! Traipsing over 1000 year old building blocks, etched with ancient carvings was wrenching - we're we ruining history? With only a dozen other tourists there, it was incredibly peaceful compared to the Angkor complex. All in all, the most amazing experience. The service, attention to detail, food (the fruit brought fresh at a village market by Rong), and snack/meal stop settings were all brilliant. We will definitely tour with Khmer Ways again.

We booked a half day (5 hour trip excursion). It was perfect. The guide was very knowledgable. The countryside was amazing. We both had the time of our lives. I would highly recommend a trip out with theses guys.

“Safe and trustworthy bike rentals with a guide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

We did the half day bike rental and tour of the countryside with a guide. The bikes were in good condition and the trip thru the back roads of the immediate countryside was well worth the small expense. Two thumbs way up.

“Outstanding way to see wonderful nature and culture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

We booked two trip with Khmerways: First the two day trip Koh Ker and then one day trip to Kulen Mountain. Both trips are absolutely fantastic. Koh Ker offers easy riding and wonderful nature, temples and villages (giving high five to about 100 children makes you fell just great). Kulen Mountain should be advertised as an offroad adventure trip. It was amazing. For example: I did not know that a simple Moto could go through knee-deep water. WOW!
Our guide (Wong) was the best - he explained a lot about the sadly history of Cambodia, the temples, the living up on the countryside.
Benny the owner of Khmerways was great as well, he explained a lot and he even gave us perfect hints for what to do and what not in Siem Reap. Plus he recommended a nice guesthouse.
Furthermore I'd like say that I did already a mototour in Vietnam with the EasyRiders - and to be honest - that is nothing compared to what Benny is offering here! If you have the time - this is seriously the best way to explore Cambodia!!!!!!!! Fantastic and thanks again!!!!
Finally: I don't understand why Khmerways so far down on this list at tripadvisor!?!
