“Incredible experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

The Angkor complex is huge, and 2 full days were really needed to do this justice. We had an English speaking guide for both days, which I would highly recommend so you really get a full understanding of what you're seeing. So glad I got to see this historic gem and would highly recommend you see it.

“Best place in Cambodia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

The reason to go to Cambodia. You kan make reservation true a travelagency but better is to do it with Tsoi. He speaks English, has a car for 4 passengers, airco and cool water. His phonenumber: 01/7976308. You can also "rent"him for other trips. I used him as a private driver for 12 days (1.200 km). He's not expensive and reliable.

“This whole area is full of truly spectacular world heritage sites.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

It would take a week at least to visit all the historic sites & buildings in this park. However 'must see' sites include the Angkor Thom walled city & its Bayon Temple, The Ta Prohm & obviously the Angkor Wat.

“It's amazing, but why allow sellers inside the temples?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

Its a shame that sellers are allowed into the temples themselves. outside the entrances is understandable and running the gauntlet is an accepted part of the experience. However, allowing them into the temples themselves detracted from the experience, understandably they are relentless, but when you're trying to view something, or want to stop for a photo, it's an issue. We ended up rushing through a few areas to avoid it.

“Wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

So much detail and so much history. From the top of the tower at Angkor Wat you could almost see the ceremony and the splendour that must have once existed there.
