“Home away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2010

Angkor Pearl Hotel became my home away from home. I stayed in Siem Reap for just over 2 months and stayed at Angkor Pearl the whole time. The hotel itself, is extremely comfortable and affordable. It was the perfect place to come back and relax at the end of hot day! My room was just beautiful with all the mod cons.
The staff were AMAZING! Everyone was extremely friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and happy. They became like family!
I highly recommend Angkor Peal to anyone traveling through Siem Reap. You wont find better service or value for money!!!

This is a great hotel for the money you pay (we paid $20/night, but it was off-season). The hotel is newly renovated and it shows in everything. The owner is US-born and he spends most of his time on-site and oversees everything personally to make sure that his guests have a good stay. The hotel personel is very friendly and they speak good English.

Hands down the BEST hotel in Siem Reap. Others hotels around the world should look at this as a model. Great staff... the best staff. Great price. Nothing but good things to say. Everything was perfect. Traveling with two others all of us got our own rooms. The owner Peter speaks perfect english and was so helpful trying to accomidate our every need. All the staff speaks english as well. Tien staff/Tuk Tuk driver drove us around all of the temples and explained the history and stories of each, for 5% of the price a tour guide would charge. Breakfast is included... one day we asked for 5 waters. They misunderstood us and made us 5 complete breakfast dishes. I wish I could give them 6 stars. Thank you to all of the staff for making my trip to Siem Reap unforgetable.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, mostly because the stuff (including Peter, the owner) were so sweet and helpful at all times. The breakfast was really good with big cups of tea and omelette making me feel at home. The location and the quality of the rooms are also excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

During my 3rd visit to Siem Reap, I had the pleasure of staying at Angkor Pearl Hotel and so far is my #1 choice compared to previous accommodations. I was quite impressed with the western standard amenities: bathtub with overhead shower, hot water/cold water, granite counter with sink, powerful A/C and the cable TV channels! The BEST part about Angkor Pearl Hotel is the friendly staff and very caring and warm owner who makes sure that your stay is comfortable and memorable. If you're looking for a hotel that is your "home away from home", then definitely check out Angkor Pearl Hotel because you will not be disappointed with the property, its location and the staff. The hotel is a quick tuk-tuk ride from all of the temples, a quick walk to the Angkor Night Market and also Pub Street! I will definitely stay at Angkor Pearl the next time I am in Siem Reap and have given their business cards to the rest of my family in Phnom Penh!

This hotel is owned by Cambodians, and managed by their American raised son, and that was the original reason for choosing it so that the money stayed in cambodia. It is not far from the main part of Siem Reap - old market etc and easy to commute by tuk tuk.
It is a new hotel and our room was comfortable and well appointed and the staff were lovely. It did not offer breakfast but that was because it was at start up phase. All in all a small boutique hotel that was great value for money.
