“Extremely warm and friendly hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

We stayed at Angkor Pearl for three nights in Sep 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a swimming pool, fitness center and a large breakfast spread, then clearly you are in the wrong place. But if you want to have a nice, clean, large room in a central location, coupled with extremely friendly and personalized service (the staff in the restaurant would bring our toast to the table once done!) at a very reasonable price, then look no further (they also offered a free pick-up from the airport!). We had a problem with the safe (it was closed when we arrived) which was resolved immediately; there was a power cut during our stay and the hotel staff offered to guide us to our room and also offered us a flashlight. We also stayed at a 4-star hotel nearby for one night (with swimming pool and all the works) and while we have nothing against that hotel, we know where we'll be staying next time we are in Siem Reap. Few points to note: the air conditioner was a bit weak for larger room we were staying in (Apsara Suite); there are no lifts (not a problem for us as the staff helped with our bags) and the road leading to the main street is not well lit, which can be a problem if you're walking back to the hotel at night

We stayed for 3 nights at the Angkor Pearl Hotel in September 2012. The rooms were spacious, clean and of a high standard relative to the price. My room had a safe wlthough some rooms do not so this should be something requested if required at the time of booking. Bear in mind however that reception also has a safe. A buffet breakfast was also included which was very welcome before the tours of the temples. The staff at the hotel are incredibly accomodating and extremely friendly which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

Fantastic hotel and certainly the best quality for the price of all the hotels at which I have stayed during my trip to asia. We also received a lovely gift on leaving the hotel which was a very nice touch!

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and lighter due to the extra windows. Request a room with a safe if you requ...

We stayed 3 nights at the Angkor Pearl and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff could not be more accommodating! The breakfast wasn't great although better if you are up earlier as they don't necessarily seem to replace all of the food but it kept us going and the price is so reasonable that I would still definitely recommend it. They also gave us a wee gift at the end which was a lovely touch! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Staff were all friendly and accommodating even if we arrived late at night.Very quick check-in, no forms to fill up and no advance payment. They just asked for our passports and in less than 5 min, we were already given our room no.No lift but they will help you with your luggage. Room is clean and spacious. A/C is working very well. As to their complimentary buffet breakfast, it was just a simple menu but still okay. I will highly recommend this place to travelers who are looking for a great place to stay.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Clean, safe, beautiful decor, good restaurant serving local cuisine, excellent customer service, and the price is unbelievable! Definitely staying at the Angkor Pearl on my next visit to Siem Reap.

The staff at the Angkor Pearl were so friendly and professional, we had a lovely stay and would reccommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It is a great location. You can walk into town and all the different markets, if you like a short walk if not you can easily get a 2min Tuk Tuk ride for $1. The rooms are basic but very clean. The staff are helpful, polite and generally lovely. We used the hotel bike hire nearly everyday to get around, using the Tuk Tuks for longer journeys. We stayed for 10days and it was the perfect time, to see Angkor Wat and the entire park area, and also to get out and about and see the villages and people in the surrounding areas. We loved Cambodia and would love to return and try and figure a way to stop over at Angkor pearl for a night or two before going somewhere new. One tiny recommendation would be the breakfast, they could offer a little more selection, but not really a problem.
