This is a scam, the owners of this ' association ' are earning money by making children give a show every night. This is what an orphanage should be doing to help children. Please don't go there and close this page.

“Enjoyable performance”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014

We visited two years ago. There see progress since our last visit with a new block of building at the rear of the land and paving on the floors. We enjoyed the performance by the children but there were only 6 very young children in total dancing. We were told that there is now a daily performance done by the main troupe of dancers in Pub Street. I guess the orphanage must be finding ways to make more money. Still a good show put up by the gutsy younger ones. Some photo shots with the performers after the show and donations given after that.

“Wonderful Khmer Dancing by nice Children!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

This Orphanage, easy to reach from the city centre of siem reap, is a wonderful place to visit! A really nice guide showed us whole house for the children, including school, stage, and a nice home for the children! They all seem to be very happy, and even if we were only 4 visitors watching them, they made a great show for us! They seem to be very talented and also happy while doing their dance! After the show we had time to play and talk with them! You mustn't pay for this show but you can donate. Also a nice place to visit with children of all ages, just a place you should go and support! :)

“An evening to remember.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

We strolled along to Acodo not quite knowing what to expect, to begin with we were shown the work being undertaken here by one of the young men that has been here for several years. He was telling us in beautifully spoken English what the aims and ambitions are for Acodo.

He also told us of his ambitions, that is to go to University to study further in languages to become a guide for tourists. This is possible through Acodo. There are opportunities here for all the children, there are courses in practical skills such as Farming and Mechanical Engineering.

Meanwhile the children aged 3 years upwards enjoy music and dancing as was apparent in the evening show we attended tonight.

We enjoyed chatting with the children after the show and to answer some of their questions as to which country we came from etc

The show is free and of course you may give a donation if you wish. There is lots of information as to how donations are used and the ambitions for the project to ultimately be self financing.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

I was so impressed with the orphans at Acodo. They put on an entertaining show which was well produced and interpreted for foreigners. These children are gorgeous and their dancing was very good. You can see that they really enjoy the interaction with visitors and there was absolutely no pressure to donate at all.
When we learned about Acodo's promise to their children we also decided to come back and volunteer, as well as sponsoring a small girl for her education. There are many NGOs in Cambodia, I wish I and my husband would have time to take part in more activities here one day.
