“Great hotel, friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

I highly recommend this hotel for its good value, highly competent and efficient staff, and timely service.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we were happy with how friendly and accommodating the staff were. We made many requests during our stay, and the staff attended to each of them politely and efficiently. They even allowed us to check out late and continued attending to us even if we have already checked out.

The rooms are clean spacious, and the beds are comfy and wide. The ambiance of this hotel is really good, with tasteful Cambodian furnitures and art pieces to complete a really classic look.

The food is great, and their breakfast buffet spread is especially commendable.

All staffs of this hotel are very friendly and very kind. They arranged a car for to and from the airport free. It was very easy to contact before trip, they replied all my questionnaire by e-mail very quickly. The room was very clean and comfortable. I could spend very nice days with their staffs.

I cannot say enough good things about the service. They were helpful, put up with us more than anyone else would! They really went over and above to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable stay, so much so that on our second night, we got very, very lost in Pub Street and two of the hotel's bell boys (who, mind you, were finished work and there with their friends having fun) remembered us and took us back to the hotel after spending hours helping us look around Siem Reap for our lost friend.

The hotel room itself is very comfortable, we did encounter some problems with the air-conditioning turning itself off constantly, but the staff again, were so helpful and offered to move us into another room. The free buffet breakfast every morning was delicious also. Great massage place. Nice gift shop. Generally a nice vibe and feel to the whole hotel, architecturally nice.

Also, Tuk Tuks are available at the front at all hours in the day, I highly recommend particular one driver, named Taara, he was our driver for the whole week and we adored him.

All in all, probably the best place to stay in Siem Reap. I'm going back soon and there is no where else I would stay!

Angkor Home is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from the market area of siem reap, and there are always tuk tuks waiting outside. It's a pleasant and relaxing ride. The rooms are clean and the pool is great - especially after a hot day visiting temples. Great fruit drinks and an average but passable breakfast buffet. The inner atrium echoes noise into the rooms which is a bit disappointing, but the hotel does represent value for money, particulalry if you don't want to stay in the market area and like relative peace and quiet.

Room Tip: Have the mango fruit drink from the bar. very refreshing.

We have just returned from our trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. The Angkor Home Hotel was our first hotel of the trip.
The staff are extremely and helpful (we needed early breakfast on two of mornings and were each given a real box of goodies including pastries and fruit which kept us going until lunchtime. The inner atrium is unique with four lounging mats where you can relax and let the exertions of the day ease away. The real bonus of this hotel is the swimming pool which, in the heat is something to look forward to on your return from temple-spotting! All in all a great place to stay.

Great value hotel with large rooms,we didn't notice any noise we were on the 5th floor.Just far enough from the noisier part of town+only a short tuk tuk ride to pub street. The staff here were very helpful, the ladies on the front desk really helped us when our tour guide didn't show, they booked us a new guide straight away + helped us with things to do.The pool was a cool relief after the heat of touring the temples.

Lovely hotel, just a 5 min ($2US) tuk tuk ride into town, Pub street. Far enough not to be disturbed by those wanting a later night
The Rooms are large and clean and quiet. Sparkling clean pool which was hardly used during our stay. Restaurant offers good quality meals at reasonable prices. Pad Thai ($5US) was one of the best I have eaten anywhere.
We found The staff are all very polite and courteous.
A short distance from the airport and that helps to make it a perfect location.
Basic shopping is at the end of the street about 200 meters away
