“Scary but Amazing Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

We climbed to the top of the temple, it was very scary as the stairs are very steep and too small, the way up was not that hard and we took some amazing pics at the top of the temple. But the way down, really scary experience, amazing. Worth the visit, like the mayan pyramids, a lot of climbing to do but once you are up the view is very nice. Not too crowded, take a towel, chilled water and some gloves if possible (well I had to grab each stair on my way down and the stone was really hot so gloves would have come in handy) Nice Temple, Apart from the great 3 temples, this would be a must for me ! Do not go if you have small kids, too dangerous..

“Interesting temple”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

On the way to our next destination we pass through Ta Keo, this temple is huge and tall and we really wanted to explore as we are sure it is an interesting temple, but just stopped for a while instead since the temple is under construction and afraid it is not safe enough for us to climb & explore.

“Physically challenging”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Unless you are physically fit, do not even think about going up this temple. Even if you are fit, consider the risk of a bad fall before climbing the steps. See the photos attached.

“A challenging experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

This temple has 3 level of stairs and each of the stair is steep enough. I have to use my both hands and legs to climb up. Finally i can enjoy the magnificent sight from the top of the temple.

“I came, I saw, I conquered Ta Keo!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013 via mobile

Take the ta keo challenge, bring home the memory of a life time

Climb it as the ongoing construction could mean the temple would lose its fear Factor potential. Sharing something a bit life threatening with people you don't really know instantly bonds you like family

So far the greatest experience I had in Cambodia. Try it but be careful
