The place is soo cozy and nice, the staff is really helpfull(and when they're not at work the guesthouse provides them whit an education)

It's just a short walk from the bussiest streets or you could use one of the guesthouse's tuktuk drivers for a resonable price.

You always get meet whit a smile and the bar/ chilling area is super cozy. Roms are nice too, but the great atmosphere's probably draw you out.

Pro's
- owner is doing a lot of work in responsible tourism and even with NGO's and non-profits in the area. they invest in their cambodian employees - providing them with education opportunities
- genuine friendly staff (but not over-bearing)
- quiet and peaceful during both day and night

Con's
- location is not walking distance to anything besides a few places to eat
- wifi is not reliable in rooms, but the connection is great in the lobby and restaurant area
- free breakfast options are extremely limited

Travelling need not be expensive if you find the right place to stay and people to help you in your trip.. Siem Reap Guesthouse is the right place to stay...situated in a good location near areas where you can eat good food and buy some good stuff ...spacious and clean rooms with comfy pillows and clean white linen and towels, good airconditioning units...nice ambiance and helpful staff.. Thanks to Jia for arranging our transfer from the bus station to the hotel even late at night and arranging our bus tickets to Thailand...will definitely recommend to other travellers looking for budget place to stay..

If the fact that this is the most ethical place I have ever stayed (they work with local causes, sponsor their staff's university education and teach responsible tourism to overseas students) does not draw you in then the beautiful garden full of cozy seating and the sweeping staircase up to large well presented rooms will.
What completes the experience is the staff who are all willing to go out of their way to make your stay fantastic.

What a great place to stay in Siem Reap! These are big on responsible tourism so necessary in Cambodia. Rooms are big with comfortable bed and very clean private bathroom ours had bath!!.Staff are really friendly, very welcoming people. They all are efficient and helpful. They make you feel like home with a personal touch. The outside bar and chilling area is also sweet, delicious food in the restaurant (we tried almost all the dishes ) and perfect music after a long day touring Angkor Wat. Katrine and "Little Simon" really lovely people with a permanent smile and spread joy. Thank you for your work. I have wonderful memories of our stay there.
Great Value, Great Staff, Recommend it!

A fantastic hostel with friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were clean, with aircon and hot water in the shower. The bar and restaurant are a fantastic place to chill out and the food is great. It's a 10-15 minute walk into the lively old market quarter. The hostel staff are friendly and helpful and will organise any activities through local companies. The Angkor Wat tour offered by the hostel was good and they'll even give you breakfast to go if you're going for sunrise.
