Don't miss this one.

A great guided tour showing the complete process of producing silk. Extracting the silk from the cocoon, spinning, dyeing, weaving etc.. All hand done with great skill and accuracy.

A really nice trip for only the price of a tuk-tuk ride.

“Interesting”

This was a short little tour and only cost a tip to the guide. Fascinating to see the work and skill that goes into making silk. Definitely worth a stop.

“Wife's favourite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

We only found this by reading a report at the Shinta Mani Resort. A $10 Tuk Tuk return (for 2) from Siem Reap. The ride itself is worth the money. We were given a personal tour of the farm which is well set up the explain the whole process of worm to fabric. The showroom is extensivie and my wife had a wonderful time and was impressed with the hig quality of the products on sale...and purchased several! Quite the best silk farm we visited in Cambodia/Vietnam. A donation for the visit is appreciated..we gave $2 which was suggestyed by the hotel.

“Excellent - free- visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

The tour was really interesting and informative. A special thanks to our guide who explained us all the process of silk making and was very knowleagable, friendly and patient. Most of our souvenirs come from their shop, even if it is quite expensive you can clearly see the quality of those handmand products. Highly recommanded visit!

“Silks are expensive for a reason”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

Interesting farm visit. I've never seen mulberry leaves or silk worms so I did gain more knowledge on how silk was made. The method to make a silk piece was very intricate and would need someone who has high level of patience and tolerance to complete them. It is no wonder that the price of silk is expensive.
