“Very satisfactory hotel near Atlantic City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2010

On Friday, May 21 , 2010 we stayed overnite in order to attend a wedding the next day in Brigantine.
The price was very reasonable at $50 a night , unlike hotels on the boardwalk.
We checked in by 3pm and despite some of the reviews (but not all) that I had read, I found the room to be very clean and well appointed with a nice TV.

The bathroom was very modern and clean with a large sink and large counter area next to it. There were enough towels, hangars in the closet area and there was even a microwave and small refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and the bed linens and pillows were fine. The couple that I traveled with and who stayed in the room next to mine also agreed. We had requested rooms farthest away from the highway since I read in the reviews that it's located on the Whitehorse Pike and that's heavily traveled.
It was a short ride to Atlantic City, maybe 15 minutes. We had a late supper at Goodfellows Restaurant a short distance from the hotel. The food there was very good and a nice atmosphere (karaoke on Friday night).
Our rooms were quiet (located away from the highway) and there was a nice breeze from the screened window during the night. The other couple said that their air conditioner didn't work well so they felt warm during the night.
The next morning I walked to the breakfast area in the small lobby and was greeted warmly by the person at the front desk.
There were a lot of items to choose from including cereals, toast, bagels, some fruit, hard boiled eggs and you can make a fresh waffle in the waffle maker.

This motel is a sufficient place to stay for one night in the Atlantic City area. It's about a 10-15 minute drive straight to the boardwalk where you'll find plenty of highway signs directing you to the various casinos.

The room was very clean, including the carpets and the sheets. The bed wasn't so bad either; but, the pillows were barely pillows. The bathroom was quite large for a motel, even for most hotels. But the sink was small; I suppose that was done on purpose to save money and to allow for more sink space for your own toiletries. The shower pressure was very good; however, there was a loud screaming noise coming from it I'm guessing because of something "off" in the water pressure. But the noise went away 5 minutes into my shower.

The only thing I truly did not like was that our room was situated directly in front of the motel's outdoor sign. Of course, there were room-darkening drapes, but, they didn't completely close all the way, nor were they flush against the wall; so, we had fluorescent light streaming through our room all night.

I would stay at this motel again, but, I would definitely request a room away from the street sign.

I recently stayed at the BW cause the weather was bad on my way back from AC , and it was a good experience. The rooms were clean and the the bathroom as well. And it was only 52 dollars with tax included good steal.Right down the street from AC like 8 to 10 minutes good place to stay!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed Jan 1-2, 2010. Rooms were very clean. I'm always nervous about staying in new hotels and was happy the rooms were clean. Had mini fridge and microwave which was convenient. It was about a 10 minute drive to Atlantic City.

my daughter was attending orientation at stocken college so we needed a place near the college so we chose this bestwestern because of its location. check in was an ordeal. neither clerks knew what they were doing. the lobby smelled, the rooms smelled, but after running the air conditioner on high and went out shopping the smell was gone. we were only going to be there for one night so i said ok we'll stay. the beds & pillows were lumpy. the carpet was disgusting, my daughter took a shower & walked barefoot, her feet were black. we both took showers in the morning again and threw the towels in the tub. my daughter went to use the bathroom & started screaming, there were ants all over the towels in the tub. we went to the front desk to check out and when i told the clerk, he said i will give a voucher tor 20% off on your next stay. i told him not to bother, i will never stay here again.

Best hotel of our trip! Very clean, spacious, nice! Breakfast was great - waffles, hard boiled eggs, etc. Easy to find! Excellent bargain!

Check-in was easy (even though the clerk wasn't very friendly) and the room was nice and clean. They were a little stingy with towels in a KING room but other than that, we had no complaints. Our room came with the Jacuzzi tub which was a nice bonus but the shower was good enough for us. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the strip. Overall, it was exactly what I expected for the price I paid. I'm not sure if I would stay here again but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to someone looking for a clean room for a quick overnight stay.
