Our stay at Holiday Inn Express from 11/16/12 to 1/11/13 was not by choice. We are "victims" of superstorm Sandy. We were directed to this hotel by FEMA. Not being too happy about losing the first floor of our home, we were extremly pleased with our stay here. The staff did everything possible to accommodate our needs. The front desk, John and Ray (forgive me but I forgot the name of the girl with the beautiful smile) were just great. Always available if needed and most helpful. Kindra was a delight, always smiling and helping out whenever she could. Louis, the hotel "chef" LOL, saw to everyones needs at breakfast and always with a smile. It's free with your stay and has just about every item you need to start your day, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bagels and muffins and assorted pastries.
Our room #202, was immaculate and our housekeeper was on the spot to take care of our needs. Beds were very comfortable and the bath was well equiped with clean towels and toiletries. Never heard any noises to disturb our sleep. Wifi in our room which was well needed for all our communicating with various contractors, etc.
There is a gym, large indoor pool and jacuzzi which unfortunately we did not use (and I regret) as we left the hotel each day to visit our home to monitor the work being done.
There were a lot of Sandy victims there during our stay and each day we met up with some of them to discuss our "problems" with this storm. I can honestly say we all were very satisfied with this hotel and the way we were treated. My husband and I are well traveled and have stayed at some of the finest hotels but I have to commend this hotel and it's staff for being one of the best I have ever stayed in. THANK YOU ALL for your generous hospitality during this most unfortunate time for us. I would not hesitate to return for another visit someday!

The hotel is decorated nicely and the rooms are nice, pool area exceptional. Kids had a great time using it after a trip to storybook land. Room was very warm and heat was off.??

On a busy highway and the train does rumble through and you can hear it.

We are priority club members gold members and we received a call 15 minutes after the posted check out time and asked if we had a problem. Never never has my husband encounterd anything like this from HInn staff and he does most of the traveling. When i travel with him i have never encountered it. That was the only downside, staff should look at the profiles of guests before making calls.

This hotel excels in so many ways. Every staff member was friendly and helpful during our two night stay. Public spaces and rooms are perfectly clean and modern. The building is smoke free. The sparkling clean indoor pool and hot tub are set in a beautiful atrium. The exercise room is nice. My family enjoyed a two bedroom suite where my children had their own television and two queen size beds. Rooms and bathrooms are large. Bed was very comfortable The complimentary breakfast is delicious.

During our stay, the hotel was hosting families displaced by Hurricane Sandy, temporarily placed by FEMA. Several of these people had great compliments for the hotel's management being especially accommodating and kind. A highlight of our stay was seeing Santa visit and give gifts to every displaced boy and girl. The hotel arranging for Santa's visit is a great example of how this hotel excels in so many ways.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because I had a very early flight the following morning. The grounds were kept quite nice and the ambiance was great as well. Front desk staff was helpful and customer oriented. We received a complimentary bottle of water upon check in as were told about breakfast in the morning which we could not take advantage of due to an early flight. It was clean and convenient being only 10-12 mins away from Atlantic City Int'l Airport. Would even consider going back if I wanted to enjoy the night in a casino and not pay top dollar for overnight.
