“Beautiful sanctuary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Very well maintained cathedral in the central plaza. Impressed with cleanliness and upkeep of property. Was a nice quiet place to pray or walk through.

“Very nice old cathedral.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

Very good feeling in here. I went in every time I was in the plaza and there was always people visiting, praying and lighting votives. A very nice feeling in a fast paced world.

“The fançade is so much nicer than the interior”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2012

Bolivia has much nicer churches, be it in the same department or elsewhere. That said, this building is OK. The façade is nevertheless the better part of it; so are the surroundings: a large plaza in front, a Republican building next to it and a large courtyard in the back. On the whole, one could add a 1/2 star more for the full package especially at night. There are, also several bars and bistros nearby that make you visit even better than just a stroll to the cathedral. Don't miss the French-German center where an old house has been restored to its bygone lustre.
