“Patients is a virtue...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

If you have 3, maybe 4 hours to spare and not hungry when you start - this may be the place for you.
We tried to eat at this restaurant twice during our stay and walked out both times after over 30 mins without even a drink order taken. The 3 tables around us had been waiting for almost an hour for their drinks and haven't even got to the menu order yet.
Why?.... As we have heard, the food is supposedly amazing - again, as long as you have the patience to wait.
I wish I could say I was exaggerating. We had heard from other travellers that the service was really poor but thought - 'how bad could it be...?' It's TERRIBLE!!
The last time we sat without menus or even acknowledgment before we left.
I hear the food is worth it but we will never know. There is many other great places to eat here than waste your time at this place. 2 doors down is La Orilla and the food is great and service is absolutely fantastic!

“Great burritos!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

We ate there twice because we loved it so much! Also had fun playing scrabble from their games selection. They do something a little different on their burritos though, they top them with mustard! If you don't like mustard, ask them to make it without.

“Great Mexican food in a kooky atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2011

We've eaten here a couple of times during our stay in Copacabana, despite being incredibly slow service the food is the best in town and we've tried a few of the top rated restaurants.

The burritos are a healthy size and the fillings are full of cheesey meaty goodness. The atmosphere is really chilled out and there are some games and books littering the place to occupy you during your sometimes long wait for food. There's an interesting choice of music ranging from chilled out vibes to semi recognisable folky remixes of classics from yesteryear.

If you've got nowhere to go and want some good food this place is a definite winner. :-)
