Our vacation was part of a trip arranged for a group of top sales for a company we represent. Everything was included in our stay, even excursions.
We arrived on Caye Chapel on Jan. 28th, after a fairly short flight from Dallas and then an incredible flight from Belize City. The views from the plane were amazing!
We had a larger Casita, #20. It was clean and very nice. It was stocked each day with plenty of drinks, we never had to request.
We had our own golf cart and went freely exploring all over the island each day.
My husband snorkelled at Shark Ray alley with a group booked from the front desk and it was an experience he will never forget and very well run.
We felt safe the entire time, no need to lock your door! There were 21 in our group plus a few other people, but really the island is so private we always felt like we had it to ourselves and having a group was enjoyable, especially for the meals and sitting by the pool which we did each afternoon.
The gold course was incredible, I did see the big croc by hole #5!
The fish and birds by the pier are beautiful. Our group had a villa also, which we met for cocktails each evening and some special munchies were provided by the chef one evening.
The food was excellent each day. You won't be bored. Thank you Raavi! I tried duck for the first time. It was memorable.
My hubby had fish and chips for lunch 3 times, it was that tasty.
Also memorable was sunset wine cruise. Beautiful and well done.
I had a pedicure with Alley ( thanks Alley, you are so precious)
and it was relaxing a very private.
This place is beyond compare, I would definately return.
On a side note, we had very few bugs, many people mention them in the review. I put on sunscreen (bullfrog) with repellant each morning and never got a bite. It was also not rainy though, so that could make a difference.
