We did not know what to expect apart from the great comments on TripAdvisor. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and felt like if we were visiting family. Pecco was great at suggesting activities to make our stay the most enjoyable and relaxing possible. Gail was also a formidable hostess. They were both very attentive to our needs. We appreciated every moments of the few days we spent at the Highland Lake Inn. We feel that we have made friends in Andover and wish we will be back soon.

We spent two enjoyable nights at the Inn. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable. The hospitality of Pecco and Gail was unsurpassed. Their knowledge of this area was tremendously helpful to the success of our visit to Andover. We look forward to returning.

It was our first time in this area and what a beautiful spot! The Inn is partly overlooking the Lake, it is a quaint and quiet yet enchanting New England setting. Being hoteliers by trade, we were so surprised by the quality aspect - luxury bathroom amenities from Molton Brown and super linens, great breakfast. And just loved the friendly approach of the owners - totally enjoyable. We were not surprised to learn that Pecco Has had a long career in making people feel welcome and spoiled.

My family's stay here was so excellent, there are only a few things to simply say about the place:

1) You couldn't find a more hospitable environment. Gail and Pecco are the best!
2) The rooms are beautifully done; the bathrooms spotless, and the beds are dreamy to sleep in.
3) Most delicious breakfast I've ever had to this very day.

If you have anything negative to say about this place, you're crazy!
