“Absolutely amazing, I would have not stayed anywhere else!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

My husband and I went there to spend our honeymoon. We went downstairs to the restaurant and the food and service was amazing. When we checked in this lady named Dee Ann checked us in and she was amazing. We also had 24/7 access to the pool. We absolutely loved it there. The staff and the rooms are amazing!! Thank you Fairmont for a night I will never forget. And a special thanx to Dee Ann!!!!

On a chilly day in October, we decided to try this hot springs resort after reading about its colorful history in a guide to hot springs of Montana. We were not disappointed. We stayed in the gracious resort and had 24/7 access to the huge hot pools both indoors and outside. What a treat! The onsite restaurants were both excellent and we completely enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our mid-week stay in October here. After asking around to friends and family we got similar mixed reviews to the reviews on here. I can confirm that it has been updated from rooms to locker rooms. Clean, new beds, bathrooms and amenities in the two queen bed room we had. The locker rooms have newer tile on walls with accent tile and newer enclosures to change. I'm not a fan of the carpet near the indoor pool, but the pools are large in size and I'm sure when it's crowded, that much tile getting wet would be a safety hazard. Fun little duck pond, animals (goats, horses etc) and nice playground to add to the kids amenities.

We ate breakfast at the resort restaurant and the omelets were great . Kids had pancake (very buckwheat-ey not as sweet as they are used to) and scrambled eggs and bacon. Bacon was fresh cooked and just like you want it!

We will return another time (definitely mid-week when we have the run of the place) and have suggested it to friends.

We meet here once a year because the kids love it so much. The pools and slides, the funny little animals, the fresh air and fall colors-wow! The area is beautiful and there are many different possibilities for short day trips. Our only disappointment is in the dining room and lounge. The food is not all that good and the service is not any better. The staff is friendly and just seem to be lacking training in how to manage timing and fine dining service standards. We had 5-11 year olds and 2 adults and by the time my sister and I got our meals the kids were done eating and our food was brought out cold. We dined kid free the next night and things went better but still did not meet expectations for that price point. That aside, the rest of our stay was glorious and there were many helpful, friendly staff members. Rita at the front desk is a ray of sunshine. We will certainly go back next year.

Room Tip: There are ground floor rooms that open to the outside for the kids to exit. They can reach the park...

My partner and his family and I stayed in a condo for a week. Although the condo was slightly outdated, the view was spectacular and the elk bugling in the evening was a delight. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the dining room table was already set beautifully for dinner.....nice touch.
The only downside was the fact there was no tv in the guest bedroom and the one in the master was an older tube type. Guests of the condos are allowed use of the hotel amenities and the chili served in the restaurant was great! I would definately come back again!

Room Tip: The west facing rooms/condos have the most stunning views.....

We stayed at Fairmont last weekend for a girls getaway and it couldn't have been better. Our service was amazing the entire weekend. The rooms have been updated and the beds were so comfy with amazing linens!!
We enjoyed margaritas poolside in the afternoon and had a great soak in the hot pool until 1am looking at the stars and chatting. Sunday morning we enjoyed amazing massages at the spa. It was heavenly!! Bridgette was our server for breakfast and always had a smile & checked on us often!!
I'm looking forward to staying here again this winter & skiing at Discovery!!

I was at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort for my grandson's wedding recently and it was a very enjoyable event. The accommodations were great and the overall staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this resort to anyone who needs a quick get away or for just a relaxing weekend.
