“Miss Heather”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

My fiance and I stayed in the Miss Heather which is the room on the corner of the building. Decor was very cozy, bed was incredibly comfortable. Can't beat sipping wine in a Jacuzzi. We were the only ones staying there when we did. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs Benedict was like nothing else I've had before. Very friendly staff, we will be back.

Room Tip: Out of the pictures we saw of all the rooms, we chose Miss Heather because it looked the least old f...

My fiance and I celebrated out engagement here. We stayed in the Miss Kim room which was nice and clean and our breakfast was superb...especially the french toast and potato cake! All around romantic place and the staff is very friendly.

Room Tip: Miss Kim was great. Very spacious room located on the main level. Nice large double jacuzzi tub!!

Very comfortable bed and linens. Relaxing jacuzzi. Quiet room. More breakfast than I could eat. The cookies in the room were delicious. (I usually don't notice that).

Room Tip: Talk to the owner and ask what is important to your stay. The pictures don't reflect the best o...

My husband and I stayed in the "Noel Room". The room was very nice and spacious. The mattress was so comfy, we didn't want to get out of bed. The breakfast on Sunday morning was pretty good too. We had a nice stay.

We stayed at the Edelweiss guest house for two nights while visiting various wineries to celebrate my birthday. The experience was great! The room was very large with a comfortable bed & a marvelous two person jacuzzi! The staff was really friendly & breakfast was superb! I would highly recommend a stay and hope to be back soon!

We rode the katy trail 40 miles to get to Edelweiss and Kathryn was there waiting for us when we arrived. We only had a half hour to make it to the wineries before they closed so she had a tray of snacks with a couple glasses of wine which she had us put in our room. She locked our bikes in the building so we didn't have to worry about them. Then she loaded us into her car and drove us over to the wineries so we could get a bottle or two before they closed. We then went to the restaurant/bar connected to Edelweiss and had a very nice time socializing with the locals while having a couple drinks and some hot wings. Everyone was very nice and made us feel welcome and Paul who runs the restaurant also makes your breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was just perfect and was a great way to start us off on our 40 mile journey back down the katy trail to home. We will definately be back and have told all of our friends about our perfect weekend. Oh right, can't forget the homemade cookies that Kathryn also had for us in our room, YUM!
