“Hilarious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2012

I've been going to Lyceum for years and love it! Last year's highlights were Damn Yankees, Run for Wife, Always Patsy Cline and the hilarious A Tuna Christmas. I love the theatre's mix of strong local actors and Broadway regulars. It's always a great experience whether you're looking for serious drama or a silly night out. I'm really looking forward to this season, especially "To Kill A Mockingbird", "The Music Man" and "Boeing-Boeing"! Fantastic having Broadway caliber theatre in the heartland!

“Downhill each year.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012

The Lyceum used to put on great perfomances. Lately they are average at best. You could catch a play at a small college that is better than the Lyceum.

“Broadway Shows in the Heart of Missouri”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011

Nestled in the sleepy little historic town of Arrowrock, Missouri, the Lyceum Theatre draws visitors from miles around, including the Lake of the Ozarks, nearly two hours away. And for good reason. If you love theatre musicals and dramas, but hate the high prices and crowds of the city, look to the Lyceum. Professionally managed, with experienced, professional performers. This little theatre stages casting calls in major cities for Broadway-caliber talent-- and its reputation precedes it.
Each year they get top talent for musicals, comedies and dramas, all staged, directed, cast and performed in this small community.
Well worth the drive, and certainly the admission. They have an extensive website with shows, times, directions and ticket prices.

“An excellent time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2011

This was our second trip to the Lyceum Theatre. This time we saw "Damn Yankees". It was an excellent performance. They bring in professional stage actors/actresses from all over the country and mix them with some very talented local residents. The air conditioning was out the night we were there, but they were working hard to make the best of it. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are wonderful. They have refreshments available before the performance and during intermission.

“Great Theatre in a Lovely Little Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2011

Just saw Forever Plaid this past weekend (6/4/2011) and it was absolutely delightful. The performance was fun energetic and a wonderful way to spend a hot summer night! The theatre is small enough to to priovide intimate interaction with the cast but large enough to not feel as if your are sitting in rhe middle of the proloduction. There is not a bad
seat in the house. I would recommend bringing a sweater with you - their air conditioning works exceptionally well!!!!!!
