“Don't believe competitor reviews. It's fine.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

Food is good. Always served hot and fresh by polite wait people. Prices very reasonable. The bad reviews are almost always written by jealous competitors. No exception here. Too bad the internet unleashes despicable business practices when one restaurant tries to savage a competitor that frankly just does it a whole lot better, like Country Kitchen.

“It is what it is...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

It's a truck stop. Hasn't been renovated in 30 years (hence the 'retro look'). Food was good but greasy..prices are good, and the parking lot is huge, hence the large population of truck drivers. Don't go out of your way. I also find it funny there are 3 'Excellent' reviews by 3 gals (within a week of each other in September) who don't have any other reviews out there. Waitresses maybe?
Meh...

“Retro truck stop!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013 via mobile

This place is a retro truck stop which takes you back to the 1950's. as soon as you walk in, you are greeted by counter style seating and on open kitchen. There are also tables you can sit at. The food is very good. Is it eclectic fancy schmancy gourmet? No. It' s simple, hot and fresh. Try their breakfast. Best in town. I read some reviews where they complain about the bathroom smell. Well don't sit by the bathroom Einstein. It seems like one person used two different user names and wrote two negative reviews which appear similar in nature talking about a bug in the drink. Seems like this person has a vendetta against the owner. I am ignoring those reviews and hope that trip advisor removes them for abuse. The owner, dominic, is usually there and cooks good food. I can't wait to eat breakfast there tomorrow!

“Diner”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

Food was pretty good...that's about it. Needs updating, hasn't been furnished since about 1970. Service was ok, not sure I'd go back.

“Feel like home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

Every time you walk into the door of this quaint little restaurant the staff and regulars always make you feel like you're apart of something greater. The food is great and the portions are filling. The prices are great! The staff always sees to your needs and always offers friendly conversations. I recommend this place highly esp for out of towners like myself. The charming local atmosphere will always bring you back.
